Boy, I tell ya - two feet in front of Voronin & this is the only reaction I get from Duty.. (what happened to "if you fire on Duty territory, we wil kiiilll you"? )

- I gotta retract my dissin' on Sakarov.. he finally coughed up buckshot for a decent price. He still gouges for vittles, though:

- loadout for trip 2 to Prypryat. Could probably leave ol' "green machine" & the 5.56 behind in my "not now" stash as well, love my Dragonov Match Grade:

- Nothing, but NOTHING comes close to a good headshot! Spray of blood, brains, & skull fragments. sound effects are top notch!

I'll say it yet again -Many props go out to the maker & the special effects team. =D> :salute: \:d/

*by the way, Nightwatch, I don't expect these all up in player's corner! It's your deal -you pick which ones go up. We certainly don't need all of 'em! ;)

I always remember the first Farcry, there is a bit where your thrown out of a chopper, and you have to jump off a waterfall and into the river hundreds of feet below. I always used to get that "lurching" feeling in my stomach when I did it :-??

Nightwatch, I remember the door closing after I entered the C-Con room. It slammed shut all on it's own. It is the door shown in my C-Con time pic on the stats side.
I was thinking the problem with multi-core might be a result of GSC's "fix" not playing nice with the way Intel allocates core usage. It did not show up till you overloaded the engine, so we could have lots of target practice! =D>

This thread is freefalling like Wombat70 from the tower. Sounds like everyone is (mostly) having a good masochistic time.

You're absolutely right there. :thumbright:

fiznerpin1962 Nice going there  That's one stealth approach alright, you got then there without they see you or hear you.

Hmm.. I'd expect to find that door open when re-entering the Lab in Freeplay. If this is happening, even if it happens from time to time, the player must still be able to go outside regardless of a CPU glitch or not. So, I will prepare something to enable the player to get out of the lab by whether entering the room or from another jump point somewhere around there, which will be available when the Freeplay hits. I can add this into the game with the proposed "North-jump/walk option pack" soon.
Yeah, you have a pint with the Intel allocation protocols there. I hope soon things will get better with new MS patches. I remember when Vista first came and I installed it, I couldn't even install Deus Ex, it was not compatible at all. But, a few patches later, not only it installed, but also started playing flawlessly. I'm hoping same sort of developments to take place with this multi-Core usage problems. Let's hope. Hope is cheap. Heh he.

Nightwatch if you think 10hrs/day is a joke, some of us work even more then that. I work 12-15hrs a day, 7 days a week. Once a month I go home for 3-4 days. Then I work even harder!

What a difference playing stalker and newsa on windows XP. Not sure what happened on vista 64bit but it made this game a monster, i think the monster generator was working overtime :)) . Dam hard going with basic kit and not much ammo so i could save up for stuff but the experiance was worth it :thumbright: . Gonna have to work on everything else in freeplay now :D

So, welcome to the Freeplay to you both Ultradad and Wombat_70. :-bd =D> In fact, if I'm not mistaken, it's your second Freeplay run Ultradad. Very nice pictures from you both again.
I'll choose the pictures and update the Players Corner this weekend. I guess EggChen will update the current standings as well.

You work very long hours, buddy. 12-14 hours 7/365 may not be even legal on you; but, I know, that's life and it's tough. Wages should be higher to allow us all to be able to spend more time with our lives.
I have no desire to enter a race with anyone, as I may be even luckier than many, but I haven't had a single day holiday in over 10 years which passed with 3-4 hours sleep each night. We enter a murky area where work and private life mix with each other, gets impossible to distinguish which one ends when and the other one starts, both become a single entity. :-?? Well, at least we can still smile.

I haven't had time to play stalker lately. When I have been free Devil May Cry 4 had taken up the rest of the time (yes I like the game alot). Hopefully I will play it tomorrow or sometime during the weekend and for once will get pass garbage without no MADNESS.

Oh and thanks fiznerpin1962 for the tip/advice on the codes. That will surely be a big help when I go looking for them.

I will, sorry guys, been pretty absent lately (no competition!!) but this global recession is causing me 10 hour days as well. The company owe me over 3 weeks in accrued hours (it would have been four weeks had I not taken last week off), so they are either going to pay me for them or I'm having three weeks off later this year

This is a very rare crash, and doesn't look like restricted with this mod either, you seem to be getting the one like Kaidonni did. Could you specify if those corpses belong to a same faction, or a mixture of them, and also in what area please? You've been playing this for some and it's sudden start must have a reason, so it needs to isolated and caught. Also it might be helpful if could remind me of your OS, what-bit, CPU type of things. I'd like to catch this thing.

That was fast Nightwatch! I got this 3 times under the railway bridge in Cordon off a corpse of the military. Its not the original
5 guys that start there but its one of the replacements after I've
killed those first 5 military. I've started the main quest to meet
fox and give him the medkit. Its also happened there "before" I
started the main quest.

Gigabyte mobo w/P45 Intel chipset

This is the most stable system I've ever had.
Running nice and cool in my Lian Li case.

Thanks, audioave10. I'll be digging into those NPcs' files in detail. Don't know for sure that anything will come up from our side or it'll be another STALKER related incident. But thanks for the details. And, yes, your system looks from quite a competible and stable one. And I know the cooling quality of a Lian Li case, in fact from a feet away. :mozilla_wink:

Balious
Don't forget to capture a few hard-hitting pictures if you can; as long as it doesn't upset the immersion into the game, of course.

EggChen
If you ask me, I'd say try to get the cash for the overdue hours, buddy. They can (and quite possibly will) find a very important reason (like unexpected developments that need to tackled) to make you stay and keep working instead of going for your earned holiday. Once you've got the money, it's yours; but a holiday is not, not until you've actually gone and completed it. :mozilla_wink:

OK, I think for the time being the best course of action that you can take is to leave the area, say, go to Garbage or jump to Agrogrom or Dark Valley from Cordon and stay or sleep a few game hours there before coming back, so that things can reset themselves in Cordon.
