I've been busy with this one for a while now and estimate release in two months.
My original idea was to make stalker more interesting and difficult to perhaps respark peoples interest in the game (well mine really )
and as i've progressed, its turned into more of a survival game than anything else.
Here are a few changes made to make things more interesting :
dynamic weather by notanumber

cut mutants back in
npc and stash box looting with the option of placing your own stashes that will be "locked"
npc's can heal themselves
hiring of squads
weapon repair based on your rank
weapon "skill" progression by notanumber
artefact carry weight by notanumber
flare gun (shoot mutants or npc's with this and watch them go down in flames )
personalised map markers which you can drop and describe what is there
6 achievements that can be attained
laptop - from this you can repair weapons, hire squads , check personal stash contents and map markers and check achievement progress.

a few new tasks added
things added for difficulty:
npc's wont drop any ammo, instead you will have to break boxes to find some.
All task rewards are reduced or changed for difficulty
all stash "treasures" reduced for difficulty
