It's awful what has happened in Japan! Looks like a post-apocalypse movie, but so real. A single town has lost half of its population, 10,000 people are missing just in that town. Earthquakes hitting many places this year.

Speaking about the recent situation in Japan, yes, it looks like their reactors are having a real trouble with a significant risk of meltdown... in at least three reactors! Apart from the human toll, their economy has also received a very big blow.

American tectonic plate is moving towards Asia by 3 inches a year... and American tectonic plate is sliding under the Asian tectonic plate. This stress has been further exasperated by the warming of the Pacific by about 0.5-1C, which causes a very big expansion on the plates, considering the thousands of miles length of each one. This so called "Ring of Fire" fault line is getting too agitated and stressed. The thing is that we the humans cannot actually do anything about it other than watching. Nature is too powerful and it proves itself like this.
