As for cargo haul related stress, ever had an instance where you were forced just sit there with it because some shmuck at the client end forgot to pay, so now you're just stuck there, not allowed to unload, while the whole schedule for the day gets shafted.

Sure, it is nice when the driver knows the ´whats?' of whatever they're hauling but unless specified, they shouldn't be expected care about much else other than regulations pertaining work schedule and road rules, it's up to the receiver/client to confirm that everything that is supposed to be there, is there, and in the correct quantities ... that is just basic stuff for avoiding liability in case of misconduct or whatever.
