Hello there :D

Thank you Fatrap for the tips , a lot easier to get up and running :lol, i made sure i had all the good stuff before i went to lab x18 :wink: , just made it back out with 490 lb of gear and 2 loafs of bread :D

You made me jump you nasty modder :P , i was digging around for a few bits and pieces on the second lvl with the lockers and 3-4 rats run in and i shot them /flex, then came the zombies and more rats, those nasty disappearing dogs and 2 chimera :shock: , i was running around screaming like a little girl trying to find somewhere to hide :lol:

I made it out thank god and looking forward to whatever you got in store for me on the way to saving the world 8)

It gets worse.
There is no social situation so serious that it can not be solved by the proper use of high explosives.

Fatrap, something I ran into at the freedom base. When after turning off the burner or whatever, if there is a rainstorm going all the mutants can really drag down the level. Not so bad if there is no rain but even my system has problems with all the traffic going on during rain.

I saw several of the rats and some pdogs stuck in the wall too.


And a suggestion for if you ever want to make an easier version like you have some other mods. Instead of adding more food, ammo, or less enemies you might think about just adding the artifacts back in. They are really not needed for most of us but they might help a beginning player.

Picture this, it's pitch black night you are walking along and suddenly you hear the sound of chainsaws starting up. 3 strangers come running at you and you can't run fast enough to get away. omg. :badgrin:

Hi Fatrap, really great mod, I sure pay a lot more attention to my minimap now :D

My only grumble (not so grumbly now that I found out where the stalker drinks come from) is that the strangers and other humans also eat, how come I never find any food on them?

Can I make the strangers and rogues also susceptible to the mutants?

Can I make Sid sell food - surely as he is close to the perimeter of the zone he must have some sort of deal going with the army base? :D

Hey Phoenix135! Sorry it took so long to answer you.... I have been swamped at work lately...

I removed the food from the loot the NPC's carry. It can easily be added back in, but there is a LOT of food still available. Some mutants like the boars and fleshes will drop it and you can also buy if from Doc once you get to the Red Forest. Enabling Sid to sell it would be easy to do.... I just took the food away from most of the traders so that the player had to go out and hunt down mutants!

The Rogues are very susceptible to mutants... almost as much as regular NPC's. The Strangers are not... I did that to keep the population of the Rogues down and the population of the mutants up! The Strangers are tough enough to wipe out all the mutants before marked One gets a chance!

If there is a specific tweak that you want, let me know and I will toss it together for you! :thumbright:

Its harder though because I've been playing alot of Dead Space lately... (I've been aiming at the knees...)

Hi Fatrap, no problems - love the mod, some of the swarms are huge. The Duty Colonel at the Bar died a while back now I don't seem to be able to get the Duty to let me in to see the General after giving Barkeep Krugelov's data stick. The Duty guys I can talk to tell me to go see the Colonel (obv dead) and shoot me if I try to go into their compond past the sandbags Any Ideas?

OK everyone.... I blew the dust off my gaming 'puter and fired this beast up again today! I'm in the process of tweaking it a bit and I really don't know where it will end up. I am focusing more on "fun" enhancements and lightening up the gameplay a bit. Boy.... I am really rusty!!! #-o
