On behalf of myself and my countrymen, I would like to apologize to all our good friends in the UK. It was bad enough that our prez gave your PM 24 DVDs, after he gave the prez a one-of-a-kind thoughtful gift. But now it turns out that they were Reg 1 DVDs!!! And can't be played on your DVD players! And he is supposed to be tech smart? :ymblushing:

We have PAL60 DVD players, they allow proper playback of NTSC and PAL DVDs, assuming of course the TV supports 50hz (NTSC) as well as 60hz (PAL)

You shouldn't apologise Grump, we are not responsible for the actions of others, even those that have been elected by us. I certainly won't be apologising for the actions of Mr Brown, past, present or future!

Plus 24 is worth watching, have only seen seasons 1-4, but will be getting the others. Perhaps Mr Brown will lend them to me :-J

PAL60 DVD players are all over the place here, you just have to look for them
