Owning a place isn't all that bad. I'm so sick of the crap involved with renting, I almost want to buy a place now. Granted, my lifestyle leaves no room for owning a house...
And girlfriends aren't bad either, as long as you avoid the chicks who still act like they're in highschool.

All in all, you're still a young'en. Old is when you look back on your life and say "Wow... I've done some really dumb shite!"

Don't worry I'm starting to feel young again I realised earlier when I was dismantling my brand new lappy with no service manual that if I was old going through my mind I would of been thinking "Sh!t, I'm too old to understand all this"

Instead I found myself cursing the monkey who made this laptop for not giving the audio chip any EMI sheilding (main reason the lappy was in about a million bits) and cursing the twits who designed this laptop for not putting any vibration dampeners on the DVD-RW drive to stop it making a god awful noise vibrating against the chassis and cursing why decent thermal paste wasn't used on the CPU to keep it as cool as possible. On the bright side I accomplised all of the above tasks and now know how to fully dismantle and re-assemble this laptop. Not a bad acheivement given the lack of a maintinence manual
