Something I do at the bridge, get up in the attic of the mill and snipe them from there. I take down the military first since they can hurt you at long range but go down easy. Then the Burers since they are harder to kill. Once you get any that can hurt you at a distance I go out on the roof and draw the rest in close and clean them up.

when I try to download the patch Fix.rar I get an error message..

yet I was able to download the More Mutant Madness.rar patch.
any ideas?

I dunno... MediaFire was acting weird for a couple of days. What you might want to do is just download the whole mod that is in my signature.... it is the fixed version!

Now that I have had a chance to play this a little, it's a lot of fun. But since I can only play for a little while at a time, I am taking a hit with the doubling thing. No matter, just adds to the fun. Now, about this Busetibi guy! He gave me hell for 10 min. last night. I was so pissed, that when I killed him, I walked up and put 2 more 12ga rounds into his face. Just to make sure!!

He does carry a nice weapon to steal once you "off him".

He is a pain in the rear. He once survived several exploding barrels and a couple of gas cans. He was down but not dead so I had to slit his throat to finish him off.

Fatrap, I have been having problems with my inventory. I can't use items on the bottom? I am using 1680x1050. Tried changing to 1440x900, same thing. Widescreen problem? Anyone else?

I guess I just got used to it but it is a vanilla widescreen problem. Some of the big mods
fixed it with smaller icons and more spaces. I don't know if there is an easy enough fix
for Fatrap to impliment here or not.

Usually, I'm being followed by 20 zombies, 5 cats, 2 pseudogiants. I bring them right through this area:

well freeplay is....... interesting
got back to Pripyat and was met by at least ten Tushkano (while I spawned in) and out in the sport complex playing field was seven Pseudogiants along with a few Strangers and Rogues, took care of them and advanced into Pripyat itself, snorks,pseudodogs,monolith,strangers,rogues,bandits(wtf are bandits doing here?) bloodsuckers, controllers,freedom,duty,loners,military,oh and more pseudogiants, did I mention that we have lots of pseudogiants in Pripyat?

Wait until you reenter Red Forest from Freedom territory again while in freeplay. The only solution I have found is to run for cover then start picking them off starting with the controllers first.

Oh you did, you DID!!!

First time I tried to turn and fight them. The controller did his thing, my gun went bye bye, the strangers shot me full of lead, then the kitties turned me into Fancy Feast.

Second time I ran from those that spawn in your back pocket, ran around the truck, and straight into a couple of strangers with 50cal. I died.

Third time I never even made it around the truck.

So on and so on. Took me half a dozen tries to find the right cover so that I could take out the controllers then start on the others. All in all it was pretty interesting you evil SOB. I love it.
