A small update seems to be rather overdue, so it goes:
Patch: The forthcoming patch, which will take to mod to
version 3.1 and mainly set to increase stability of the game and provide a more universal compatibility for a wider range of PC-setups, therefore overcoming the Pripyat First Assault Wave (Snipers Alley) issues seen on such PC-setups, also to provide some minor changes in various aspects of the game, is still in its final testing phase -waiting for the finalization of Pripyat testing- and rather unfortunately, due to the small yet persistent problems that continue to pop-up like wild mushrooms (not those of hallucinogenic ones

) in real life, like
the hectic phase at work, like that incessant
walking-sick flu in this terrible winter in 110 years, and with all the above and more, everything is taking a bit longer than initially envisaged. But, it's coming soon.
The new full upgrade:I've made some further elaborations in the design of planning, and widen the scope of the things to come.
There will certainly be an Xtreme ++ (working title) version on top of the existing structure. But, in addition to this, I'm planning further extending the game, (possibly) proportionately weighting more to the post-NPP phase. More speculations on this later
However, as a short note on this matter, I'm planning to add some
new variants of creatures. While some may be the further enhanced derivations of currently available creatures showing variations of characters and behaviors, I'm also considering to create
new species not existed in the game before, which will definitely require some (very) long MAYA sessions.
