Thank you guys :) :)
It's this interest and willingness to spend some of your times to play it what matters at the end of the day. :thumbright:

Well, I'd wish everybody happy Thanksgiving (thursday) - but it looks like I will be the only person on this board getting a paid day off! #-o

Hot, juicy turkey and gravy anyone? =D>

Are you vegeterian? Though there's nothing wrong with that, just asking :)

@fiznerpin1962
Happy Thanksgiving, then :) how come you get paid day-off?

@Nightwatch
=D> O:) It'll be great, can't wait for it. Saw the skins and explosions (thanks EggChen) -Zone looks so real and mean now, plus with the new tweaks. Dancing in front of the TV while shooting Monoliths in NPP.
(It's bloody difficult man. :axe: They all have your sooped up FN-NWSPXs. I have to reload every five minutes. Do I suck, or is it really that hard? But still loving it, got addicted to it.

Yes, Potomac77, it is that hard..... it raises my blood pressure to dangerous levels - as does the arena.

On thanksgiving: It's a national holiday. Goes back to 1621 when the Pilgrims came over from England, landed @ Plymouth Rock, & met the "natives". The Pilgrims (now "colonists) set up a great feast at some point to thank the indians for their help, and to give thanks [-o< in general for a bountiful harvest. Thus is the history of Thanksgiving day.

Yup guys, everthing is going well with themod, thanks. :thumbleft:

And, don't worry, it's sometimes nice to wander away from the talk of modding and gaming, it'll make everyone come back with a refreshed breath. :)

Although this is not the bar thread let me offer eveyone a drink :partyman: I'll sipping the rest of it in the Bar. (fatrap just said hello to everyone there)

After so many turkeys, how's life going on fellas? I heard that turkey meat causes severe sleepiness i-)

Nightwatch, how's the mod going? I'm waiting it like yesterday, you know what I mean. No pressure of course (something wrong with two sentences lol :) ) but I'd like to release some steam during the Christmas, you know. Bosses and all that have been killing me up to now. B-(

Now that all is quiet (all turkey-stuffed wankers napping), I just
want to say that by the time your finished with the new update I'll
be ready for NEWSA again. I took a break so I could...
play Priboi for the first time, then Clear Sky, then my zombie-version of Run&Gun 3 and then Fallout 3 (107 hours).
Looking forward to it!

As I already posted on GSC site, I might posted here as well. I've just finished the game. well, to the north to NPP section of it, at least, for I guess there's no end as now I've started Freeplay. I'm still shaing. lol. :shaking2: NPP was very difficult, I died every ten minutes or something and I am not a bad player as I think so, played all hard games. Now back on Pripyat is also very difficult, I don't know which section was more punishing. :)

It took me so many tries even to get out of the car park, was very big gunfight going on. Yes had a few crashes, but I took the advice and saving a lot so not big problem. Also following busetibi's advice to avoid sniper section until they kill each other a bit, going to other direction and all that good ideas, thanks. :thumbright: I guess with so much people and mutants running around, that's reasonable.
Now I don't know if I should stay in Pripyat, it's very dangerous, fighting a lot, street by street. Loving it, it'll keep me going until the new patch. ^:)^

I'm really glad that you liked the mod that much and thank you for your praises for it. :)
Don't worry, it's a very difficult mod, it's never been promoted as being an easy one, so I don't do much better than you either. :)
If you haven't left Pripyat and go south to much, you may wish to get back to NPP and also (if you have saves there) try choices at "Wishgranter", there and later you may have surprises :mozilla_wink: (not those types that make one sit comfortable at his chair, though)

audiave10

Thanks buddy for your continuing interest. :) It seems that meanwhile you've done a big of duty with other games as well. You seem to keep your gaming fittess alive. :violent1:

Verton23

Don't worry, I'm working on it in all my available time. I hope then your PC won't get too much steam damage :D

EggChen

Buddy, how long it can take to add your campfire mod? I'm still on Pripyat at the moment. I can put any changes that I do later into the all.spawn by copying onto the new one, if your campfire mod also needs all.spawn work. While looking at the campfires I realized that switching on and off campfires would provide a very nice "unique and new" look into the whole campfire visuals. :)

Well, hopefully, not long.....

I have yet to install the SDK since the upgrade, lets hope it works!!

As for merging, there is no all.spawn work required, what you would have to look at is the bind_stalker and xr_kamp scripts from the campfire mod. I managed to merge them into my ZRP based game OK (only 1 crash where I screwed something up).

If the SDK works, the particle file would be relatively easy, if boring :p

Take a look at the mod, and let me know if you think merging it will not cause any problems for NEWSA.

Edit: Just for clarity, the mod is not mine, I just created my own particles which I felt were better. You would need to credit the original author, I'll dig out his name as well.

Thanks EggChen, I'll have a look at the mod. If it works OK then, if you wish of course, I'd be pleased if you could mix your particles into it, provided that your SDK works. :) That's not a sure thing though, I'm afraid. Hope it works. I've looked around, but seems I'm failing to spot the link. I'll check again later. Anyway, I can only look into merging it after I finished this Pripyat and Extreme sections.
