The original C&C was just great, I loved it... right up until i realised that you could create a wall of sandbags and the enemy would pathfind around it.

I just used to put all my defences in one place and sandbag the rest

Great game though, and the many sequels have been good as well, I still have C&C3 to play, and I still play co-op C&C Generals with my dad all the time.

C&C is my favorite rts series but thanks to EA ( < insert whatever you can think of) its now ruined. TD was good, RA 1 was good,TS-FS were great ( started with that one ), RA2 was ok, Renegade was sweet ( altho linear and predictable after first playthrough, it was fcking great ), Gen and Gan ZH were ok ( the most realistic of them all ),TW was good and KW was also good, played RA3 demo and can say ( being a big C&C fan ) it sucks bigtime : too cartoonish and campi.
Cartoonish looks good in Stacraft ( another good rts game, waiting for SC 2 at the moment, looks good ) but not in a C&C game. The second FPS ''Tiberium'' based on the tiberium series ( after Renegade)of C&C also looks like a disapointment sofar ( they've turned it into BF ) It's craphics look sweet but it doesen't seem to have the C&C feel to it anymore ( even the name ''Tiberium'' wtf, just tiberium ).
And finally, EA managed to create huge plotholes aswell in TW and KW
Owerall EA has failed, they destroyed Westwood ( the original creator of C&C ), they remvoed Clepacky ( he made exelent OST for C&C games before EA started dictating what to do ), I hate EA

I say bring westwood back! not only did they make c&c but they also have made nox which is a good rpg game in my opinion.

Only good games EA make are battlefield and sport games. and bf 2142 looked good but something didnt seem right to make it good as battlefield 2.

Anyway I have all the c&c's apart from tw/kw and ra3. I would prefer westwood classic ones to the newer ones anyday.

If EA would devour all game companies, I guess we won't be able to play good games anymore, they are also ruining all old good titles, the worst company ever and unfortunately they are too big an mighty.
