so, whos made a website before?

I'm building one.. kinda. I've done some stuff in the CP and now I just want to see how things are shaping up but whenever I enter the url address firefox just spits the error at me that the page cannot be found anyone know what the issue is?

If you give a bit more info, I might be able to give some ideas. Like: what design software you used, how did you upload, is it a commercially rented website or one that is received from your ISP, therefore are you using your own domain (like this site) or your domain address is an extension of their domain, and also have you pointed your domain to the server as they request in their control panel?

Thanks night but I got lazy and found another hoast, all works well now site is slowly taking shape.. spent 2 weeks just thinking about the kinda layout and forums I want

Great that you've sort it out. Yes, hosts do make a big difference, it was obviously host's side that wsa causing you the problem then. I'm not a pro web designer, just going on in my own oil, but I'd be happy to be of any assistance if you ever wish to discuss any aspects.

Thanks On a different note I bought a new monitor today, 22" LG TFT Seems pretty good, 1680*1050 resolution, 8000:1 contrast ratio and a 3 year warrenty for £124. Best part is it was off ebuyer, so if the thing even has a single dead pixel they will take it back
