Well, Nightwatch.... we gotta have a bar if we are gonna do this right!

So I will start it off... How's everyone doing? I hope Hurricane Ike is not hitting anyone here.... I'm kinda concerned about NatVac though. I think he lives in the part of the country that Ike is getting awful close to.

I'm far enough north of it that we should be OK... just rain and wind. Supposed to hit here in about 9 or 10 hours I think....

Im sure Natvac is fine mate dont sweat about it also i live in the UK so i dont think there is any threat from the hurricane except maybe some odd weather at the minimum.

Also did you say its heading for you? :S

Also I dont drink anything alcoholic so i hope you have some other types of drinks.

Yes, I'm watching the Hurricane Ike news on TV as well. The say it's the third most powerful hurricane in the US history, well, that says it all.
I hope everybody will be safe there and will just live through it without any lives being dangered. That goes to NatVac, too, of course.
If you have his email address, we can inform him of this forum as well. I couldn't find emails of many guys unfortunately.

It'd be great if everyone invites anyone they know, so we can chat. As I said, I don't have the emails of many many guys from the forum, I only got those who sent me emails recently. I wish I had.

Well i got quite a few and some others who i cant remeber as there emails are vague but i have peeps like siro and so on.

I got some other modders aswell but none are online and i cant for the life of me remeber there email address so ill wait till they appear on MSN and Steam and ill tell them.

It would sure be nice if we can get everyone rounded up and linked to this forum.... I have emails for about 50 or 60 of the folks from the GSC forums so I will send them a "form letter" (or should it be a forum letter!) about the new forum.

Well, I should be safe from Hurricane Ike where I live up in NW Arkansas (USA) but I think NatVac is pretty close to where Ike is a lot stronger. Hope he finds good shelter if that is the case...

Fishy_joe AKA the corrupter isnt modding anymore and he dosent even go onto the forums anymore so the chances of him joining seem slim but its worth a shot.

Isn't Tejas Slacker from around those parts? This hurricane season's been hell - it's like it's open season on the Gulf Coast now! :/ It's the one thing I don't miss about Florida (that's where my hometown is) - the bloody hurricanes. Send them our way, we could use some rain. Stupid drought.

Yep... I think you are right silverpower.... he does live down in that part of the country. I hope he is out of harms way!

The big effect the hurricanes have up where I live is to drive up the gas prices! They are really gouging everyone....
