In my view we should always look on the positive. Although it does seem like im a pessimist more then anything.

These kinds of fires are getting more and more often in the world, I notice like everyone else, like california, some metiternean countries, Italy, Spain, Greece, Latin America countries, few to mention, though this one in Australia seems to be the most devastating one in recent times. Too bad. There are also almost always some arsonists com eto the frame as the ones behind many of such fires. There are really som every sick people in the world who really forfeit the right of even being called "humans."

Also, I know it is always quite easy to speak from distance, but in the light of such increasing terrible incidents, maybe the Planning Commissions (or whateever they may be called in every region) should stop granting the "building and settlement permissions" in high fire risk areas. Not quite helpful for democratic choice, but, don't know, maybe at least save some lives in the future as correcting sick minds and affecting the climate is a long way down the road yet.

I'm not saying it was one of them but........when you read crap like this and know that some of the fires were caused by arson it makes you kinda wonder.

this coming weekend looks really bad for them as well, hot temps and strong winds predicted and several areas are still burning because they can't get to the fires, several towns are on high alert.
it just came over the news the death toll has hit 183 and a rumour going round that another 143 bodies have been found as the army is now helping to clear roads to enable the police access to fire damaged areas.

I hope that after all the investigations it will be clear that no one is behind these fires, though we all heard that Australian government is seriously considering Arson is being the reason. If it's a human made disaster, then the culprits must be caught and punished as they deserve, no excuse of any kind can wash it; but unfortunately nothing can bring back the lives lost.

Busetibi; I had to wonder when I read the article. How in the hell do they think "harsh" punishment will detract someone willing to die for their cause??? I wish your country all the best, and hope they get a handle on the fires quickly.

Yeah. I watched the video, graphics and the mood of the game looks OK. Some cool looking weapons. I think I'd like to play it if there is available without STEAM or "off-line" playing option.
It would still be better though, if the guy didn't get excited too much with his own shouting during the gunfights.

Spent £200 worth of vouchers in PC World yesterday....

I rate Vista even more now, didn't even need to reinstall with a new board.... very rare for that to work under XP.

I couldn't use the vouchers on the site, but I got a friend of a friend who works in one branch to order a board into the store.... and I brought a PSU that they had in stock. Not the best quality, but enough raw power to cope.
