''Hazy greetings''

Eeeh 10th grade and research papers to do and being late as usual the best things were allready taken so I with my nutjob brain came up with the idea of making it on celtic culture.

So point being and I suppose that maybe only ket and nightwatch can help, do you guys know any celts, someone who actualy knows about their culture and heritage. If you could help me,I would forever be in your debt. [-o<

Well, I don't know anyone who can be helpful about Celtic culture academically, particularly in such a short notice, but I've found a concise yet -as it looks like- very informative piece on Wikipedia, which, in a "right-to-the-point" approach, explains a lot of things about Celtic Origins, Names and Terminology, Linguistic evidence,Archaeological and Historical Evidence , Society, Warfare, etc. Have a look at it, you may find at least most of what you're looking for. :)

I hope it provides some help. :mozilla_smile:

For something completely different, I needed to see some movies since I don't go to theatres anymore.
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels...1998 but I had missed it. Very wild and good movie.
Zombieland...Silly & funny and almost seems like a Zombie game. I liked it.
District 9...Suprisingly good movie and well done.
Avatar...A average story but an epic movie in many ways. Seamless CGI well done.
...your opinions will surely vary...

@Audioave
Lock, Stock, And Two Smoking Barrels is by far one of my favourite movies... actually, any Guy Ritchie film falls into the "awesome" category. Each has its own flavor, but they are consistantly manic... It's quite a ride with his films.

@Templar
You know, me mum is an artist who focuses alot of attention on celtic... well, everything. PM me a couple a questions and I'll take a moment to ask her next time I speak with her!

On another note... Watched all three Evil Dead movies for the first time last night... in one sitting... I watched the first, and I was laughing so hard I had to watch the second... by time I finished the third movie, my sides felt like they were going to EXPLODE! Ladies and gentlemen... This... is my BOOMSTICK!

Be those vinyl graphics? When I went to college, I took a class on vinyl printing... never thought to put them on computer cases! :P

One of these days I'll spend some time on my case... I've had a couple o' ideas floating around, but never the time to implement them.

*Hears an explosion* Wheres the damn cleaners.

Anyway a friend told me about this woman called Baba Vanga who predicted the future and so far has predicted everything right. Now if all of this is really true then we may end up being busy.

http://mr-lighthead.blogspot.com/2009/0 ... -5079.html
Heres a list of predictions for the future. First one being a third World War in November this year.

Do you lot think these predictions will be true? Or is all this just some confusion thing?

Very nice, rocking! Having moderated in the past, in my humble opinion on most forums your promotion would be of dubious personal worth. But the quality of members here makes it appear to me to be a moderator will not become a chore! :-bd
