Well, I've not seen any PMs whatsoever after I sent you the PM with the search dictionary glitch.
It's interesting that you got the one I sent you, other than I did have to put spaces in the error message to transmit it to you.

On Win re-install: I've got you guys beat. The game machine is also a custom nLited WinXP-SP2+ that I keep tweaking, although I've not done much on it lately. Still, I re-install it once a month, to save the license hassle -- it's not on the Web, so I have to call it in, and I got frustrated speaking to someone who didn't understand my English because the MS voice recognition system doesn't work well when my air-conditioning is running.*
It installs in 15-17 minutes, auto-configuring a few items: all drivers are pre-installed along with some software like 7-Zip, and I'm preconfigured as a user. It requires only two moments of attention: I quick-format the C: drive, so I don't have to reinstall any games on F:, and I click
OK and
Finish on the OOTB user configuration program.
Still have some tweaking yet to do; WinXP is still eating 93 MB of RAM at idle. But it is so fast and convenient, running scripts to configure the registry, that it is like a painless Windows refresh.

*Why do they insist on not checking your license string? I knew what the problem was, but the foreign support person had to go through the script, asking about why I was moving the copy to another machine
when it was a brand-spanking-new license for Windows! Grrr...
