Isn't Tejas Slacker from around those parts? This hurricane season's been hell - it's like it's open season on the Gulf Coast now! :/ It's the one thing I don't miss about Florida (that's where my hometown is) - the bloody hurricanes. Send them our way, we could use some rain. Stupid drought.

He's from Texas, so he should be out of the hurricane's way?

The hurricane was hitting south / southeast Texas pretty hard. But Texas is a huge state and if him and NatVac live in the central or western part of the state they should be OK.

The more I use the new forum, the more I like it! Good job Nightwatch! I really like the Memberlist part of it a lot. It is nice to see where everyone is from. What I'm curious about is where rockingmtranch is from.... with the "ranch" thingy in his screen name, it always makes me think he lives in a western USA state... audioave10 just lives a few miles from me... we are gonna have to do lunch one of these days!

And I see that silverpower made a big move... I thought she used to live in the NW part of the US and now she is in eastern TN! What the heck made you move that far??? I hope it was a really good job offer!

Anyhow, it is nice to see the USA has a few stalkers.... the game never really seemed to catch on over here. I dunno if it was because of lack of advertising or what, but I cannot count how many PC gamers I have talked to in RL that have never even heard of the game!

EDIT AGAIN: The only good thing about the GSC forum being down this weekend is that I finally got off my arse and wiped my gaming computer and did a re-install. I forgot what a pain it can be setting up a RAID 0... anyhow it went fine and just for grins and giggles I went ahead and made several installs for the game.... unpatched, patch 1.0003, patch 1.0004 and patch 1.0005. So if anyone needs some "old" files, I should have them. It is nice to be able to load some of the 1.0003 mods.... there are some good ones that the authors never got around to updating for the newer patches.

Also you will have to wait and see busetibi i will make an additional option for new spawns so that you get ALOT of zombies in the mod and then players who dont want it can leave it out and play with the spawn rates and so on that i make if that makes sense.

Yep, the old GSC forum was getting pretty buggy. And the increased traffic from Clear Sky just sunk it. Hopefully they will get it updated, but I am enjoying this new forum so much that I really don't miss the GSC forum!

Nah, I'm not in hippieville (aka Olympia, Washington) yet. I'm waiting on one of my friends to scrape together enough for a bigger apartment so that me and another one of her friends can move in. Until then, I'm still stuck in Tennessee. That reminds me, I need to nag her about it next time she's online...

Man... I feel like it! Been out in the yard picking up loads of tree limbs that got blown down by the storm.... bunch of old dead stuff. Got me a good bonfire going..... wind shifted and I felt like one of those flaming "campfire stalkers" for a moment! I didn't need all that body hair anyhow!
