When I did have the game I did have a quick play with Jam on terrorist hunt. Same map as the one you played on the second video I believe. Of course I was doing crap as I was still getting used to controls and so much and Jamie goes and puts it on highest difficultly. Jamie made me go and do all the work of getting the enemy into the open while he kills them all.

When I finally get my sound recording right. I have some Left 4 Dead 2 videos to put up. But my mic seems to be about just over average while my game volume has gone to pots during playing back my recordings.

The game is good but I am dissappointed with a few things. Mainly the campaigns. Alien campaign can basically take up to 1 hour to complete. Theres only 5 missions and you don't even become a facehugger
Apart from that the game is quite cool.

Hey Meandering I have a question. I was watching one of your Rainbow Six videos and noticed you had a problem with talking to the other guys (where you seem to keep saying with the youtube caption thing).
Did you ever fix this? I am asking because I have a similar problem where everyone can hear me but it tends to keep stopping and can't hear me well no matter what I use for voice chat.

Oh, that's just a problem with the Fraps/Skype interaction. As soon as I activate Fraps (Which allows me to select which channel to record, whereas Skype records EVERYTHING that is considered a recording device, which is basically everything that Fraps processes), Skype will start recording my game audio as welll as my mic... But at 10x volume. This makes Skype detect "excessive sound coming from your mic" so it turns the mic way down, but still records game audio at ridiculously high volume. So basically, I cannot play Rainbow Six with the crew with both skype and fraps running... Which sucks, because our conversations are absolutely hilarious... As long as we're not bitching about skype-ear-rape.

As I said on steam to you Meandering I may of found a way to fix that mic recording issue. I investigated pretty much all day trying to solve it and tried lowering stereo mix to quite low and it seems to work. I first did a test recording without speaking to anyone and the video sounded okay. Normally I would have to get windows movie maker out and quiet it down from there but now it sounds quiet for that.
Next I tested with Grunt on steam while playing on a PS1 emulator trying push to talk and voice activation. Grunt says he could hear me fine but could hear ingame sounds loud. I tried Resident Evil and he said he could clearly hear Jill get hit but so far it seems okay.
Will do more testing to see if it did solve my own problem. If you have not tried this Meandering could give it a go.

Can you guys tell me if you get any sound with this one? YouTube says my audio has been re-enabled after a copyright dispute (they misidentified the songs). Its just some Unreal Tournement ownage (I am a prick when I have a flak cannon or ripper, as you will see)

You aint no UT god back in the day when I played it a lot I went 999 frags on godlike difficulty frequenty without dying ONCE. I was equally deadly online too /picks up pulse rifle/

Try bouncing flak or ripper blades at me and I'll introduce your face to a flak grenade I'm frightening good at just being able to hit someone in the face with a flak grenade. and when flak fails I have my minigun to back me up.
