I'm with you on both parts, simply awesome graphics, I had it running in true DX10, which is only slightly different to the DX9 tweak you used. The later levels are shocking, I wonder if the Devs actually played them and thought, "Yeah, this IS fun, and in no way like the later levels of Farcry with the crap Trigens.... now we have awesome blue aliens!!!"

\:d/

Still, I am playing it again and trying different approaches, if only to see the views!!

Edit: Nightwatch, I like your new avatar, but I couldn't help but be curious..... 120 pixels wide??

Thanks. Clever machine.isn't it? Yup, it's 120x90something. I must've forgotten to post it last night. I raised the allowed avatar sizes to 120x120 pixels last night. File size is still 20kb max.

I got a few days off from the work and stood away from the PCs too, to enjoy the break from work. (I work in a graphics design dept, not in a game business, it's a printing/publishing stuff). Coming to the point, I went to IMAX yesterday and watched Batman- Dark Knight . Awesome film. Not childish like the previous ones. This was very serious. The IMAX was geat too. I don't know if anyone been there?
The screen is about 4 storey building size, giant. You sit above and look at the screen a bit from the high angle. It has a sort of embedded simulated 3D appearance as well.
If you haven't been yet, you should go and catch a film there. Lol, it was a good advertising, I should've asked free tickets before. :D

yeah I saw them all. The Batman Begins was very good, a new style in Batman series. Serious look. Sspecially the new one, Dark Knight is very very good. The actor who played teh joker there unfortunately died recently. I think thel'll give him an Oscar, posthumously (Hope correct spelling) Go and see it on IMAX. That's a amazing cinema. :thumbright:

Yup, the joker in DARK KNIGHT is dead, unfortunately. He is nominated for, I think, Golden Globe today.

I saw the movie when it came out, I can see it again, it wsa so good. At least I'll watch it again on DVD. It was somewhat dramatic. I hadn't liked the earlier Batman movies. Even Jack Nicholson was wasted in one of them, don't remember which one. You see? Forgettable stuff. WTH Jak Nicholson was doing in a movie like that? :-?? But this one is very good, top effects as well.

OK, I deserve a free ticket as well. :D

Easy answer...Jack was in that film because he got 6 million dollars
AND a percentage of all collectables profit.
Nice work if you can get it. :ymdevil:

Where the anarchy of the JOKER ends, the annihilation of the PROPHET begins.
A JOKER is a spreader of anarchy, a agent of chaos. Anarchy triggers chaos, from chaos comes annihilation, and from the ashes a new order shal rise. That is the cicle of life: life prospers, goes through clensing and starts anew

Yay,6 million dollars? I can't blame him at all now. For this money he could even star in Titanic...ehm. :)

Hey guys why don't we all do nominations of the year. Like game of the year, modder of the year etc.

I gave jamie failure of the year because he always fails at least once a week when i talk to him on steam.

Anyway game of the year could be interesting. What games are most likely getting it from us. For the whole world its apperantly world of warcraft wrath of the lich king (before it even came out and before left 4 dead).
My game of the year has to be Left 4 Dead

Good idea :thumbright: Calling for nominations for the best games and mods and so, for the year. I wish I could vote, but I haven't played any new games I cannot say it out of my own experience. But you can make a new thread with it as well, then we can also vote on the nominations.

How can you know that this is the real world, how can you know if this isn't just another dream? How can you offer proof of your existance when neither philosophy or modern science can explain what life is?
