Just got back from a camping trip in the "woods." Bloody Ohkies don't know what camping is... Pitched my tent on gravel, next to a parking lot, next to a road, next to a neighborhood, with pretty mowed lawns, expensive cars, and a sign that says "Tenkiller State Park..." This is apparently the best "camping" area Oklahoma offers... Whatever happened to being in the middle of BFE and not seeing a damn soul, sitting around the campfire with your buds, smoking, and jammin'? Whatever happened to UNDEVELOPED land? From now on, when I go camping, I am driving all the way to the Black Rock Desert. I don't want to be pitching a tent on gravel! I don't want to wake up with a bunch of people crowded around my tent! Damnit, I could have done this in my back yard!
But other than the other tents being only 5 feet apart, in front of some houses, it was alright. I had a "F*** Off" look on my face whenever people got too close so me and my friends could continue smokin' and a-jammin'. (Not the green stuff mind you, just tabaccer) Camp-fire was warm, music was good, and the whiskey was rough (blegh, gimme my bourbon, not this canadian nastiness).
Anyways, had fun, hope you folks are too!
