Meh, it's alright. Somehow a ban was placed on BOTH my accounts instead of on just one... >.> I had made another account for the sole purpose of making fun of myself in the off-topic forum... It was fun while it lasted... Anyways, talked to Don and smoothed things out. It's all good...

And yes, GSC has been a bit on the retarded side for a long while, but hey, I like to go on there and be a pain in the ass once in a while. I make an honest effort to brighten up the mood in that dismal place...

@DT sorry man, me mum hasn't replied in a while. She works as much as I do (we're very poor) so getting ahold of her is like pulling teeth sometimes... I will try my hardest to get ahold of her for ya though. So this is for a report, eh?

Well, replying to a reference on fatrap a couple of posts back, that he is being missed, I should've mentioned it before that he had been sent to Antarctica, a US military research center there, as a part of a research team conducting experiments on establishing electronic ways of communication with Penguins.

As he is now a master laptop engineer, his help is said to have been greatly sought; and his talent in this field has become known after he, using only a specially modified laptop, managed to communicate with a penguin at the local Zoo. OK, before fatrap takes the first flight to London and tries to strangle me, I should come to the real truth, which is nearer than penguins.
I've been communicating with him regularly. He is, as he had put it before some time ago, having difficult times, particularly on very long hours of work that is required from him. And, no, it's not related with penguins in any way at all.

On the gaming part, he said that he had been making a mod for fallout, but I told him that -though fallout is one of the games that I like and I'd play his mod when it comes out- in the grand scheme of things, it's a sort of waste of his talent on that game, as fallout is already very massive and very complicated enough with multi choice paths; and there are many many very big official add-ons already available, in fact another one is about to come, maybe a s a new game, anyway. Only the couple of weapons need to be tuned more accurate, if one wants that way , and already many mods available on this. Also,the game is already very vicious, so making it any more vicious would just make it unplayable. Only left thing is the skin work, well, they have many mods on that as well.
So, I feel that he is escaping from gaming. One of the biggest parts in this that, as I got the impression of it -he also said so-, he feels that attention to his mod is diminishing. I don't know why he thought this way, because the last time he had mentioned his mod R&G, people were quite enthusiastic about it. Well, sometimes it's difficult to judge these things.


On an unrelated note, our beloved friend busetibi seems that he has got entangled in an abandoned fishing net in the depths of the murky sea, (yet he is struggling to go to surface, as he promised) known to some as Mafia Wars -a 2D game on which you just click on some numbers and boxes. (It's a game made by a company called Zynga --look at the name!!) I've heard that many people have lost a lot of money on this game, sometimes up to the regions of hundreds of dollars in a month while trying to buy points and weapons and other stuff from Zynga to use in their game, because they couldn't stand waiting for their energy levels, and so, to recharge -taking a long time.

Thanks for the news. I continually use FatRap's R & G mod since its the only one I can redo scripting on and NOT crash it.

Any ideas on how to get the resolution at least to a tolerable lv on 1997 game, Starcraft to be specific. Its stuck on what seems to be near 1020x720 or something like that and it just doesn't look good on my 21" 1920x1080 widescreen.
