Thanks everybody :D Remember guys, I need you all to run this beta hard. I haven't been able to make it crash and I'm confident I've ironed out all the kinks, but no two players are the same so there may be things others find I missed. Feel free to make your own videos too, I'll upload them to the TK channel on youtube so all the GAZILLIONS of other peoples can see YOUR game!

Oh, and just a small hint... rocket launchers serve a real purpose. So where ever you can find a rocket launcher in the game, chances are you will need it in the near future..

Will dl after work... and believe me when I say... this mod will meet the meatgrinder named Monster... Pripyat Explosive Barrel Spam---Here I come! Oh, and I've figured out some neat tricks with the RPG that almost garuntees a crash... (Actually, killing Barkeep causes the game to crash too)... Oh man, if yer mod survives tonight, I will be bloody impressed... and recommend you get a job in the gaming industry!

BWAHAHHAAH! Doom is comiing to TK!

Hello there =D>

The mod looks great, graphics are great but i noticed a few things on way to Garbage. I had 4 stashes so far and only 1 had items in it. On my first go after installing mod after i accepted the mission off wolf he turned red and shot me, i guess this is the new feature you put in that not everyone likes me :)) . Restarted again and he was ok and went over to accept the mission to do bandits. I heared a battle going on at bandit camp to save nimble so i sneaked around to find one of the bandits was going around shooting the other bandits dead then came after me :-bd .

On way back to camp the guy i accepted the bandit quest off had turned red so i killed him. Told wolf everything went great he gave me all my stuff as i did it myself then there was a large pop of monsters which wipe him out and most of the village before i could kill them :ymdevil:

I noticed the same thing happened with the bandits in garbage. By the time i had gone and got all the ammo from the boxes and talked to bes to start the camp defense there was only one bandit left as they had all killed each other/ or one had not sure but they were all dead except one which was wounded. All the bandits up the road (5 of them) 4 of them dead and one wounded and theres that camp (quest to kill 2 bandits in garbage) to east side of map as i ran over i saw 1 bandit walk over shoot the other guy then go back to his position

I will keep going and update you but from the sounds of the gun battle in the hanger i think the same thing has happened there as well. They are not aware of anomolies they just walk through them (mobs and stalkers, bandits etc)

I thought you might like the bandits behaviour ;) The way I looked at the bandit faction is that they shouldnt be organised. Being bandits, I didnt think they should all be cool with eachother but rather distrusting. Bandits steal, kill, and pillage by nature after all :D I'm not sure how you got Wolf and Nimble to turn on you though, I've never had that happen! As for the empty stashes, thats the vanilla bug I could never be arsed to fix :p The way I look at that bug, which IMO adds more realism, is that your not the ONLY person with that stash info ;)

Arg, from the release notes

"TK2.ZERO is compatible with STALKER SoC version 1.0004 ONLY."

I'll give it a try, but with 1.0005 only here, I'm not going to hold my breath.

I just installed this to my other PC so 1.0004 patch no problem. AMD Phenom II 945 (95watt) @ 3.12 Ghz, GTX 275, 4 Gb RAM. The first talk to Wolf spawned a mutant attack
that killed him and most of the others. Two Loners left & they turned RED on me so I had to kill them. The car park seemed about normal although a couple of the bandits
were already dead. Looks great maxed out (grass density lowest setting). Still in Cordon and testing but alot of fun. I really like it and great weapons included.
Playing on Master difficulty.

NPCs sometimes just turning red is all part of how I changed things. Look at it as some people who don't like you wait for the "ideal oppertunity" to try and get one in on you. Try to keep Wolf alive if you can, I'll just say in the few missions he gives you you can earn some rather nice things from him.

Wolf died on the first job but I continued. Ready to go to Agroprom and I must say the textures are beautiful. The action is stressing the X-ray I guess since I get freezes
during heavy action...no crashes though.
Also, its great you added the Russian non-important dialog. The blowout was cool, too.

I added the russian voices as you get a few things that really help with the imagination. One audio in particular that stands out is when you retrive the audio log from the dead scientist in yantar by the crashed chopper. Unlike in the English audio, in the Russian audio gunshots and monster sounds are also played as the scientist is desperately trying to find help and locate the research bunker. How he never found the research bunker is beyond me you can clearly see it from the crashed chopper.. guess the scientist left his glasses in the bunker :p

Quick question; what command is it that allows the player to fly around the map in single player? I can't remember it and everywhere I've checked in the last 20 mins through google lists every command but that one :-Q

I have a new all.spawn for you beta playtesters to try out. I need you guys to let me know if there are any problems with the following changes;

- level changer added in Cordon taking you to the Darkvalley. Level changer is found at the back of the tunnel where you find the perfected suit for Nimble. Do note if you use this level changer before the Darkvalley lab mission because the gates you come out at are "locked" you will need to use the level changer taking you to the Garbage.

- level changer positions slightly moved back in Garbage for the exit to Agroprom and for the exit to the Bar.

- level changer from Agroprom to Garbage moved quite a way back

- level changer to Garbage from the Bar moved WAY back, level changer to Military Warehouses moved WAY back, level changer to Rostok slightly moved so you can use the bit of cover the old level changer position sat on.

- level changer to Yantar moved WAY back

- level changer from Yantar to Rostok moved slightly back

- Had another attempt at finding the variables for the fires of the crashed helicopter in Rostok, let me know if the fires now output some ambient light.

- level changer to Radar moved quite a way back
