Yeah, it seems the news is true. I see there's a grand scale misjudgment from KFC side. And it is so in more than one aspects. First of all, KFC is an international company, and they should -and must- stay above all ethnic and religious issues. They are a damn fried chicken seller, and they should stick to what do they know most . --and apparently it seems it's the only thing they can manage to comprehend ....That would be selling fried chicken.

It's true that they must obey the laws of the countries they operate -if they see fit to operate- and only then they would need to comply with the law of the land, such as if they want to operate in Saudi Arabia, for example, it is expected that they won't be able to sell pork meat, because the Saudi religion (which is Islam as we all know) forbids the consumption of Pork.
But this is Britain. And Britain is NOT governed by religion, any religion at all. ! So they seem to bring and apply a religious way of governing -at least- within their premises. This may even be illegal under British law.

Let's not confuse a few things here, any ethnic or religious communities within a nation, of course, can open up their own shops and anybody who wants to shop there can of course do this. This is the democracy that we've established and got accustomed to. But KFC, as an international company, is NOT a business established to cater the needs of a specific ethnic group or any one religion. They got their own feet tangled here. Are they an international company above from religions and ethnic groupings, or they are a shop established to serve only to the needs of a specific group? What they've done is beyond the acceptable stupidity!! It is as if they try to inflam ealready strained relations in Britain. One wonders if they really have a yet undisclosed ulterior motive? For what they've is that much stupid. [-X

jamie buddy, you must know by now why I've removed your post. The way I view the situation is that they have the right to conduct their business any way they want... however, I also have the right to take MY business elsewhere if I don't approve of their practices!

I know my post was a bit OTT, but you gotta understand, that from my view, I see my school go from being Blacks whites and a few Asian, to being majority Asian, we lost 2 language class's because of it, we lost a computer lab which became some crappy thing that anyone who isn't Muslim isn't allowed into. Now they wanna plaster Oxford with Speakers blazing Arabic music, they take the jobs away, they also rag around the street in Cars bought with money the goverment gives them for "Benefits" of which they put ontop of the houses and shit they get anyway. My brother was on the housing list for 4 years, he finally had a chance to get a house, then some Pakistani Immigrant came into the country for about a week, got a house, a car, benefits, etc.

Sorry but I hate what this country is becoming, and if it gets worse, I'm gonna damn well split some skulls.

EDIT: AND ONTOP OF THAT! Ask us to tear down OUR churches to build THEM Mosques.....WTF?

And our "glorious" leadership in Washington wants us to follow your country's lead. They're pushing us hard here, I wonder how much longer until a peaceful or non-peaceful change is going to be forced.

I don't know if you all know or even care, but polls show that between 10 and 20% of US citizens want s o c i a l i s m (what's up with the board changing that to a non-word?), but over 60% do not. Yet, we are becoming a socialized country at a pace never before seen. Something's going to give. It's just a matter of time, now.

After all of this...strangely enough...I'll be glad if I don't live to be 90. (I'd be lucky just to make it to 80 anyway)

Hell, with advancements in technology going the way it is, I wouldn't be surprised if in 60 years the average life expectancy is 200 years! :P But that's optimistic... It could be the other way around too... We could unleash all sorts of horribillous things upon ourselves... Meh, I choose to just enjoy life while I can. Cigars and shooting ranges, anyone?

Can I bring all your attention to this famous person that perdicts things and apperantly has got everything right even their death:
http://mr-lighthead.blogspot.com/2009/0 ... -5079.html

The most dangerous being the first few:
2010 - World War III. War will begin in November 2010 and end in October 2014. Will begin as usual, then nuclear will be used initially, and then chemical weapons.

2011 - As a result of the fallout of nuclear fallout in the northern hemisphere will not be any animals or vegetation. Then Muslims will wage war against chemical surviving Europeans.

2014 - Most people will suffer skin cancer and other skin diseases (a consequence of chemical warfare).

Fallout seems to be going through my head on the 2011 prediction.

Funny that she doesn't mention 2012. I guess she didn't hold to all that crap about the Mayan calendar LMAO. And what does Nostradamus say? I want a second opinion.

LOL...these people are quacks. Remember, you can predict something bad will happen on June 12, 2010 and it surely will. Just watch the news that day. Its a big world. Also, statistics can be manipulated into your favor easily. Mathmaticians have shown how to do it. I'm not trusting the Mayans either since they killed
themselves off.

Heh he... :D

While on this Mayan's tax-payment, or non-payment subject for their disappearance, about two years ago a team has managed to fully translate a "previously partially and apparently incorrectly translated" text written on the front of a water fountain in the main square of Mayan capital. The text says, roughly: "Now from the West came the one in white (dress/outfit) who had come long ago and we now are to follow him to where he came from. "
This is the last written (or anything else in that effect) that remains from Mayans. Raises more questions on their disappearance than any answers at all.
