True. Can't say I envy you guys sitting atop that "the world will end if the volcano under the US erupts". I'll probably walk around looking at the ground a lot while I'm over there - you never know :

Yep, its one of the Doomsday volcanoes on the planet. If that thing goes off the US will be swallowed, tectonic plates will go awol causing other countries to crash into eachother and rip apart, and a large chunk of the sea will have lava spewing into it. Thats just the start of it all as well...

yeah, that'll make guys in the US very calm now, lol. But if it really becomes reality, then as it seems from what you say that it wouldn't make any difference where you live on this earth.
This could be a subject for a new disaster movie; as we all know, we must have a at least ten disaster movies in a year, lol

Sounds like an "oh well" moment to me. Might as well worry about getting hit by a falling star as worry about that (or, as we're more prone to talk about, Los Angeles falling off in the ocean after the "Big One").
