Catholic? Lutheran actualy and I'm more or less a all around handyman, I ring the bell, set up the song numbers and altar, occasionaly help with the communion. Altho I was babtised and confirmed, my views on the subject are almost as different from a believer then theirs are from those of atheists and personally couldn't really give a rat's ass whetere there is or is not a God.

Growing up, we attended a Lutheran church (it was across the street so I don't know if it was for belief or ease of access LOL). King James version, and that is just what it is, a version of the actual writings (read "censorship") has some good stories but so does Stephen King. I am an Ordained Clergy Member (because, by golly, if Joey Tribiani could do it, so could I) but I don't preach to anyone really. Be good to others is the best we can hope for.

Indeed one can not hope for much more then man's power to supress the more violent instincts, sure they have their useses, heck we wouldn't be around if they didn't but at the current time and age they are more of a time bomb or a defect that hampers development.

Funny thing is, most of the people I know through that are more acceptable as human beings to me. Sure they still tend to annoy me, tho not as much as others do, so all in all not that bad really. Some of the reasons may be related to those because of which I quite often get along better with people older then me.

Sure can....this is from the Church: "What ceremonies does my ordination permit me to perform?

The official list of ceremonies is: Marriage, Baby Naming, Funeral, Hand Fasting, Commitment, Affirmation of Love, Invocations, Renewal of Marriage, and holiday ceremonies.

However if your religious traditions include ceremonies not mentioned here you may also perform them as long as they break no law and harm no one.

Well, the first time I fired a slide action, it was a 9 mil and I had my left thumb up over my right thumb. Guess the outcome of that one.

Yeah, normal; and this one is 50 cal, and Desert Eagle is not exactly a balanced nor generally a good weapon (apart from looking very intimidating. ) Very high recoil, inaccuracy, etc, Israeli security services don't use it either.
It's almost miracle that she didn't die there.

Burglars killed goldfish to avoid leaving "any witnesses."


Police are calling a January burglary of a northwest suburban home "disturbing"--not just because of the stolen goods, but because the young burglars killed goldfish to avoid leaving "any witnesses."

According to TribLocal, ( http://triblocal.com/arlington-heights/ ... -burglary/ ) a Nintendo game system, CD player, 30 video games, 30 DVDs, a BB gun, jewelry and fire safe containing personal papers and photographs were stolen from an Arlington Heights home sometime between Jan. 22 and Jan. 24.
When the homeowners returned, not only did they find their belongings stolen, but found their goldfish had been poisoned. Someone had poured hot sauce, mustard, ketchup and spices into their fish tank, and all three fish were dead.

Three teenagers were arrested for the burglary, according to the Daily Herald, ( http://www.dailyherald.com/article/2011 ... 702119847/ ) and a 16-year-old involved with the incident reportedly told officers he "didn't want to leave any witnesses," so he killed the fish.

The boys, ages 15, 16 and 17, allegedly targeted the home because it had been evacuated following a Jan. 19 fire.
Police called the goldfish killing "disturbing," and the 16-year-old faces cruelty to animals charges in addition to a residential burglary charge. He and his two accomplices will be tried in juvenile court.

What really bothers me is that a lot of the things happenening (the decline altho yes, not quite exactly event after event) are pretty much like the things one has been babling about for a few years in the past(hence many of my name choices), mainly back in the days when I was a regular at GSC forums and that was before I started scouring the net for info or paid much attention to news, be it tv or papers. One has since given up as there is no point in speaking if no-one hears, no-one sees, maybe some do but they are too few to do anything. Even now one sometimes falls into the grim analystic periods and increasingly often wanders in surreal dreams. To be honest, I hate it and am scared like hell when I'm making sense in such a state of mind.
