MeanderingBeing you mean the word social.ism was censored automatically? (yes, I see it know, it's replaced with"cil" !) As the word communism is published, why wouldn't the word social.ism be published? Strange, it must've come with the phpBB forum update, a mishap maybe. I'll get down to the files and look into it. Thanks for bringing this up.
I must ask what system this forum uses. I know a lot of forums automatically censor certain words whether moderators know of it or not. What I find most strange is that, being that I swear quite often, when I say "fuck," it is not censored. Maybe this forum system you use is geared more towards removing of intellectual debate on economies and political regimes. Or maybe it crept in the social.ism censorship due to the Obama poster... Which I have to admit, I thought it was hilarious. I saw that on a telephone pole on my home from work and just lost it laughing. Anyways, I have digressed. I wouldn't be surprised that the word social.ism is censored not because of intellectual debate or its meaning, but because its over-use by "infowarriors." In fact let's find out. Do the words Koolaid, PrisonPlanet, or TeaParty get censored?
Unfortunately, I have seen more and more examples of this "run-n-gun" censorship on the internet, which to me seems stupid. It completely defeats the purpose of internet, and further, a free society. It also seems to me that the tighter the restraints of censorship, the more rebellious people get, which again defeats the point of censorship in the first place. It would seem to me that it would be easier to keep people docile if the flow information was completely unrestrained, as people would have their vent. If you can't vent, you have to do something about it... Hence why I have multiple holes in my walls from getting pissed off and not being able to vent... so I punch things. The concept applies here, without ventilation of emotions, they get directed outwards towards other things, like government in the case of these arab countries lately... Though personally I feel like they are more than justified.
On a completely different note, I would like to thank anyone in here who is egyptian, tunisian, etc, for setting a wonderful example of peaceful revolution. I personally hope this trend travels further than just the middle- and far-east, and take up the whole world. I personally believe it is time man-kind throws out this seperatist/interventionalist paradigm, and embraces something a little bit more... peaceful. Something like a world-wide existentialist anarchy perhaps?

Okay, that's just me and a few friends, but so long as we move forward, not backwards or nowhere, I'm happy.
Remember, disagreement is the path to evolution, because if everyone agreed, how the hell are we going to better ourselves? Be more human than human, as Nietszche would say!
EDIT: Relavent, but the video provides comic relief as well.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-YR0rPuuOII listen to this song and find the song is gear towards anti-war movements... Listen to the lyrics. And the chorus is an allusion to an American Military funerals:
21 guns: 21 Gun Salute
Box Made of Pine: Coffin
Letter from the government sealed and signed,
Deliver federal express
On your mother's doorstep: Death Letter...
The rest of the lyrics are pretty straight-forward... The thing I don't get is why the video is a fight in a biker bar... unless its a metaphor for what should be done to politicians? In which case, I agree 200%
