We are usualy in consensus so we usualy refer to ourselves in a singular form :-"
At times it's fun, drifting on the shady border of sanity, all the jolly conversations for example :mozilla_frown: tho not all which comes from the dark corners of the mind is nice and can be rather disturbing, some of the dreams for example. Don't really know wheter it's a good thing or not that the short time period during which I conciously know I'm dreaming is forgotten quickly.

After figuring out that all I had to do was rename the file to FO3MasterUpdate, things have been smooth with 3.

But, it seems to be some kind of secret handshake thing, no one really comes out and says "rename the exe."

Thanks for asking!

Thats the second time this month someone has made that remark, the first upon this *At times we grow tired of this play, this tragedy of a life but the anwser to the age-old guestion is*To survive, to evolve, to continue striving towards higher goals* and therefor as a great artist once said ,,The show must go on'' . Wir müssen leben bis wir sterben- We must live or we die. And so we must continue playing our parts in this play, paradise on our right, hell on our left and the angel of Death behind us.* :-?? :-\ Maybe there is more depth in this rambling of mine :-??

*paradise on our right, hell on our left and the angel of Death behind us* As far as my knowledge goes, thats metaphoric description of the fine thread of life we walk on. Originates from Dune.

This is the infamous Ortega Hiway....super awesome motorcycle road:

Yep, that's snow. Very rare sight indeed. And I took this after noon today. Probably was capped this morning. Oh, and that's under 2000 feet elevation.

Ehh, does anyone listen to Front Line Assembly, theres this one song that I had but it's now lost and I can't find it anywhere. I think there was *hallow* in the title but I'm not sure, also it sounds similar to the song Internal Combustion.

You know, you remind me of myself when I was in high school. It seems to me that you need a good dose of Thoreau, Nietzsche, and Herman Hesse :)

I recall a time on gsc when there was a debate over political systems, ie, capitolism vs. communism vs. cil etc. I made the remark that the point is moot, because in the long run it will all end the same so long as mankind does not consciously evolve. While at the time I considered myself a "cil," years of experience have made me turn to existentialist anarchy. But that is not the point, the point is that while I considered myself a cil, I did not call for cil, I called for conscious evolution instead. And if I recall correctly, you were the only one who even said anything in response to my comment. Meanwhile, everyone else just went on spewing the same old rhetoric that I hear from the opiate of the masses, or television as some call it. I was surprised that someone on gsc, of all places, was saying something different from the regurgitated paradigms present in public education and mass media... Don't lose hope, fellow stalker. You are a bright individual, and this wanderer wishes you well!

And trust me, you're not the only one who has disturbing dreams. Though I must confess that lately, mine have been a bit more simple. For example, about a month ago I dreamed about a giant Great-Dane-sized skunk with grey fur where it should be black. It waddled up to me... ...And MEOWED. That's when I woke up.

Also, something you may be interested in reading: Steppenwolf by Herman Hesse. With many allusions to Goethe's Faust, nietszche, and mozart, "one" can find no end of intellectual grub within its pages. That, and it really helped me bridge the schisms present within my own psyche, maybe it can help you in some way. :)

As always, cheers from the road brothers! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm hearing some food call me name!

EDIT: Er, nightwatch... why is the word that involves the root "social-" censored and replaced with "cil?" Is this an oversight or what?

Time will tell. But sadly til then this wanderer is lost in the haze in this thick primal forrest.
However http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wLTx4v9kVc I really don't mind.
Related to GSC, bugger that was long ago, 4 or 5 years, I don't remember jack but I'd really like to know what I said( also on topics of religion and what not, could make a nice comparison to present day) tho posts related such matters are probably deleted as they did some cleaning at some point.

Anyhoo, this One thanks you for the kind wishes.

Site's intellectual license is getting deeper, nice discussions. :thumbright: ...makes one hmmm :-k

--Also, MeanderingBeing you mean the word social.ism was censored automatically? (yes, I see it know, it's replaced with"cil" !) As the word communism is published, why wouldn't the word social.ism be published? Strange, it must've come with the phpBB forum update, a mishap maybe. I'll get down to the files and look into it. Thanks for bringing this up.

I must ask what system this forum uses. I know a lot of forums automatically censor certain words whether moderators know of it or not. What I find most strange is that, being that I swear quite often, when I say "fuck," it is not censored. Maybe this forum system you use is geared more towards removing of intellectual debate on economies and political regimes. Or maybe it crept in the social.ism censorship due to the Obama poster... Which I have to admit, I thought it was hilarious. I saw that on a telephone pole on my home from work and just lost it laughing. Anyways, I have digressed. I wouldn't be surprised that the word social.ism is censored not because of intellectual debate or its meaning, but because its over-use by "infowarriors." In fact let's find out. Do the words Koolaid, PrisonPlanet, or TeaParty get censored?

Unfortunately, I have seen more and more examples of this "run-n-gun" censorship on the internet, which to me seems stupid. It completely defeats the purpose of internet, and further, a free society. It also seems to me that the tighter the restraints of censorship, the more rebellious people get, which again defeats the point of censorship in the first place. It would seem to me that it would be easier to keep people docile if the flow information was completely unrestrained, as people would have their vent. If you can't vent, you have to do something about it... Hence why I have multiple holes in my walls from getting pissed off and not being able to vent... so I punch things. The concept applies here, without ventilation of emotions, they get directed outwards towards other things, like government in the case of these arab countries lately... Though personally I feel like they are more than justified.

On a completely different note, I would like to thank anyone in here who is egyptian, tunisian, etc, for setting a wonderful example of peaceful revolution. I personally hope this trend travels further than just the middle- and far-east, and take up the whole world. I personally believe it is time man-kind throws out this seperatist/interventionalist paradigm, and embraces something a little bit more... peaceful. Something like a world-wide existentialist anarchy perhaps? :D Okay, that's just me and a few friends, but so long as we move forward, not backwards or nowhere, I'm happy.

Remember, disagreement is the path to evolution, because if everyone agreed, how the hell are we going to better ourselves? Be more human than human, as Nietszche would say!

EDIT: Relavent, but the video provides comic relief as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-YR0rPuuOI
I listen to this song and find the song is gear towards anti-war movements... Listen to the lyrics. And the chorus is an allusion to an American Military funerals:
21 guns: 21 Gun Salute
Box Made of Pine: Coffin
Letter from the government sealed and signed,
Deliver federal express
On your mother's doorstep: Death Letter...

The rest of the lyrics are pretty straight-forward... The thing I don't get is why the video is a fight in a biker bar... unless its a metaphor for what should be done to politicians? In which case, I agree 200% :D

It's a damn good a writer's head-on venting, MeanderingBeing :thumbright:
Yeah video was very good, hilarious as well.

(PS: this is a phpBB3 forum. As far as censor filter goes, I'm sure pretty much everything in the spoken English goes. I haven't found time to check the phpBB data files, I'll sort it out, must be a glitch or something. )
