Hey Everybody.... I'm finally back after all this time. Retired now and finally got some time for myself. Doing OK... just getting old. Benefit of getting old was poor eyesight... had to get a 32" monitor!

Also... for all you coronavirus quarantiners, I have a new mod out. That will keep you entertained for a while!

I have been working on a mod for Clear Sky (just because I never have played it until now) and man... that game is the next to the worst game I have ever played. And it really has some great potential is the sad thing. Another thing I noticed is a lot of very familiar code.... hmmmm... I guess one of the devs must have played my mods and liked them! As sorry as the game is, I am kinda glad I didn't get credited for it!!! Anyhow, I have made some progress on it and it is much better, but I still have a loooooonnnnnngggg way to go. Hope my patience holds out.....

Stealing code? Really? That is ridiculous to say the least but what can you do? Over here on day 179 of lockdown and protests, Tina and I have signed on with Knight Transportation (countries largest trucking company) due to these smaller companies not having any facilities. Just rely on the driver to find their own parking and food and showers. We've got this week to get DMV stuff squared away and our DOT physicals then next week a couple days orientation. Then, and here's the fun part, I go out two weeks and when I come back for home time, Tina goes out two weeks. WOOHOO. Exactly what we wanted. Fingers crossed it works out. And Fatrap, still playing your mod. Just got to Pripyat yesterday.

As far as the code stuff goes... I wouldn't call it stealing since it was technically their code to start with. But I have seen about 6 or 8 instances where it sure looks like my stuff. Right off the bat, I saw they had increased the buckshot in the 12 ga ammo from 9 to 12... same thing I did before I put in the 3" Mag rounds. And the new communities... Clear Sky and Renegades..... hmmmm. I believe I was the first to put new communities in SOC..... Strangers and Rogues! Anyhow, it doesn't bother me a bit... I just wish they had made a better game out of it because it does have a lot of good ideas and potential. Just not executed very well.

We get to Arkansas will let you know for sure. We passed our DOT physicals yesterday. Still have to go to the DMV and still have some online training to finish but getting there

Quick update. Tina and I are now officially Knight/Swift drivers. Combined the companies have 20,000 trucks Wish us luck because the last time we worked for Knight didn't last two months (2014). We should get our truck next week and I'm going out first. Also, California last night went full mandatory on face coverings in public Stupid? You bet. Everyone be safe.

Yep... masks vs. COVID is kinda like trying to put out a house fire by peeing on it. What a joke.... And I got notified last night that the place I am now working part time at is shut down because the BOSS has Covid...... More free time to write mods!!!!! And I am working on one for Call of Pripyat. Finished the one for Clear Sky but that game is so borked that no mod will ever make it right. Now COP is a different story. Again, this was the first time I played it and I was very impressed by it. Kinda a different critter to mod though.... worked 3 hours on a file that the game doesn't use But I finally figured it out.... Love the game!!!
