Yeah, I watched Red Dwarf a couple of times, a couple of weeks tbh, sci-fi comedy. Had good moments in it. :)

Anyone watching the LOST?

Fallout 3...

Very good graphics; but it, somewhat surprisingly, raised alarm flags in my mind in respect of opposition AI...
I appreciate the fact it's just ashort clip, but it seemed that enemy AI, well, how to put it, stares at you like cows...
I would expect a more agile enemy AI, not sitting ducks. I wonder if it's like this in the rest of the game, or it was just a momentary scripted event...
Warning signs...

Slow day on the forum. I must be on a seriously different time zone to everyone else. When I get to work in the morning there are loads of new messages to read, but nothing much while I`m at work.

Maybe you should add me to the moderators list to increase the all seeing eye :cyclopsani: (just kidding)

About Fallout3...yes, I hope the enemy isn't "dumb as a rock". That's a worry to me when the game is also on a console. Maybe why I'm still
enjoying Clear Sky as it's still a challenge.

Well some of the clips have looked awesome, but I gotta admit that looked a bit rough in terms of AI, I noticed that apart from the sniper guy, they all seemed to just run towards the player... hmmm.

One thing though, clips of Bioshock always failed to impress me, but I noticed the exceedingly slow and smooth movement of someone playing using a joypad. I noticed the same thing in that video, and Bioshock was great, the enemy were faster and far more aggressive than the console videos ever showed.

I think gameplay is seriously changed for gamepad's and I can only hope that the AI is "unleashed" on the PC.

I agree, very good point :) I've also noticed that console games do really offer a more inferior AI than their PC editions. I hope this is one those cases, and we'll get a challenging AI. Because I've been really looking forward to this game for a long time, hope it fulfills the expectation. :)

EggChen...I noticed you said in another post (I didn't want to hijack) that
you gave up in disgust on Clear Sky after 5 minutes. I agree the start is
not impressive but it does get much better. I'm really liking it when you
get to the Duty base. The map areas are interesting because they are
quite different with the change in time from SOC. Sometime in the future
when you get bored you really should try again. I just run the main quest, take my time and still explore some. I help factions for my own
money benefit but don't yet join them which allows more freedom. This is
STILL Stalker so there is more free roaming than other games. Small
mods are already available to adjust things. With a texture mod I must
say it's graphically beautiful. I do have a big system though and this PC
game does eat PC's like nothing else. All I'm saying is stick it on a shelf..
...don't throw it away! :colors:

I'm sure that many of you notice that there are sometimes some (mostly strange) names in the membership list somedays, and they later disappear. Well, as you might well expected, this is how the things develop and ends:

Well, it's somewhat funny at this stage though, but I'm still seeing some creeps trying to enroll into the forum (with no intention other than to disturb the atmosphere here as they had tried before... you know..), still using "russian emails" but indicating that they are from Sierra Leone, or Nigeria, or whatever, although I'm activating all memberships manually after checking their legitimacy. :D

For example latest one says:
name: rircupefuncu
email: frolenka1@mail.ru
ICQ no: 114561762
Location: Sierra Leone
Occupation: Arts, entertainment, publishing
Interest: Volleyball
They seem to choose mostly: AcidTech Blood

These are not advertisers/hackers server attacks from Russia, these person(s) come here personally and fill the form.

(so, they, actually might be a single person or just few creeps who try to appear to be more plural. It's better if they continue to apply, because that the DNS -domain name servers -and through the ISP connections- are in the processing of cataloging all the necessary info for possible prosecutions.)

Don't worry, everybody, simplest things in life are usually the most effective ones, they cannot pass me, I'm a human being and do not respond to electronic clicks. :D :D
Then what happens? I just delete them. Just like the above one has gone now. :thumbleft:
