S.T.A.L.K.E.R.mod

Hey guys, now I know Stalker multiplayer is not much cop, but part of that is because no-one plays it!!

Is anyone interested in having a little game, would be neat to see you guys in person (sort of).

I am using 1.0005, but we could have a game on 1.0004 if anyone is interested. I would be happy to have a second install for that purpose.

We could have a regular game once a week or something, just for fun until busetibi the tournament pro turns up :geek:

Well, it's a good idea, but I haven't played STALKER mp at all, and I have almost forgot the vanilla after palying with mods, since, well, who knows when. I have open ears to listen to the details. A piece of warning though, I don't shoot bad at all.

I played it once or twice when I first got the game. Its not great, but it may be fun with a few people we know. Looking at the members list there are quite a few in the UK so timezone wise, we could have a little game.

I don't shoot bad either, me and my brothers often play co-op BF2 and I get double both of their kills!!

Also, as we are adding other games in, maybe other games multiplayer? I for one will be getting Farcry2 and Left 4 Dead, may be cool to team up on Left 4 Dead!!

Anyway, lets see if anyone is interested.

Sounds like a cool idea but i don't play stalker MP and i don't really plan on doing so although it is a good idea to play with just us lot. Any other game i.e battlefield 2 or Left 4 Dead then that would be very good

Maybe we could have a list of what games we all have that we play online. And see if someone else has it then we could try and play together

back in the day, I tried to play on Barry World Quake 3 servers as I knew a lot of brits playing Q3A, but I could never ping under 500 even with me on cable, trying to play with 500 ping against players with 20-50 ping was suicide (especially trying to use the rail gun) I used to play on the East Coast of Americas servers as I was in the CTF clan 9L, it wasn't too bad, could average 250-300 ping.
of course the aussie servers were better, my ping on them was 15-20, and as I played competition OSP Q3A CTF for over 6 years I was fairly handy ;)
but thats all behind me now, my reflexes are to slow for comps now,
much to the delight of my wife, many a night I would be playing/practicing with my aussie clan from 8pm till 2-3 am.
normally played/practiced five nights a week with Sunday night being the
comp/league night.

I tried it but it was completely unplayable for me, I did have at least 150-200 ping and the enemies were looking like some teleporters...

So I did vote to the third option!

OK, what about FEAR combat???

Totally free download, and Kany even gets to play his favourtie game again!!

All you have to do is register on the FEAR combat website to get a key, download the MP game, and your done.

Also my graphics card has hit a new time low.. it started doing all that stuff on world of warcraft :(. Freezes and seeing yellow/grey whatever everywhere :(. Damn it i want that new graphics card! hopefully i have it at christmas!

Yes that is a good idea... at moment I have :

FEAR Combat
Doom 3
Quake 4
STALKER (obviously)

I will probably be buying Farcry 2 and Left 4 Dead. anyone know if Farcry2 has multiplayer?

Unfortunately, I have never been much of a multiplayer, and sell single player games to recoup some money!! I used to play FEAR Co-op as well, but thought the maps were not very good.

I'll reinstall FEAR Combat, as its free we could all have a go. you may have to sort your GFX card out though!!

I never really played many myself, often put off by childish name calling, or getting my ass handed to me by a 12 year old!! Still may be fun for a few of us to try a game out. I'm open to a Stalker game, seems most of us never tried it, so would be a level playing field.

Yeah, true, we sure can try it; also I'll be buying Far Cry 2 as well, so we can try that one as well, provided that it has multi-player, though, that I don't know it yet either.

Command & Conquer (all except 3 and kanes wrath)
