Today (20-10-2008) a mass email was sent from the board (by me) to test the function, which just said "11." I should've written that it was a test message in the body, though I said it on the header. No need to worry.

. cause im dying to find one to play with my friend. Of course i play it with anyone else if they want to as well

Well Co-op, it depends on your preferred type of game... but I have played :

Gears Of War - Virtually built for co-op, headset a must to advise the other guy your reloading, etc.

Battlefield 2, Special Forces and 2142 - Playing Co-op against bots is fun, me and my brothers usually have us 3 versus 8 bots to make it interesting. It can be cool when one is pilot and the other gunner, or even with one sniper spotting targets for the flyboys on the Operation Clean Sweep map.

C&C Generals or Zero Hour - 2 versus 6 Hard computers, long and tough, but fun.

FEAR Combat - There is a co-op mod for this free shooter, its not perfect but you cannot sniff at free co-op!!

NFS Most Wanted - Not exactly co-op, but one playing the fugitive and the other a cop can be fun.

Doom 3 - Again a co-op mod, which is frankly awesome technologically. I enjoyed it, but my brothers would not play with me, I knew the game too well and they found it boring following my lead!!

I play any game just for co-op. One of the reasons why i brought resident evil outbreak file 2 to play online

Gears Of War for PC has co-op? i check that out and see if any of my friends have it.

My 2142 copy of battlefield was ripped off with a used cd-key (damn preowned things..) but my battlefield 2 when i do go online i normally play with my friends which didn't really end well as we most of the time argue who sucks more

. But against the bots i think we all would win they seem to easy for me.

Generals i dont really like but any other c&c (old ones except fps one as it sucks) i play with anyone. Always wanted to play an rts against comps with friends but only did it for wc3 and dawn of war.

Ah Fear i completed that co-op mod but wouldn't mind playing it again if anyone wants to play with me.

NFS.. is that need for speed? think i remenber playing an old need for speed with that mode but we both were cops. That may interest me

Seeing as i had a downloaded copy at the time just to see if it was worth the money i still need to get doom 3. Im just too busy to actually go buy it as there are more things on my mind that i want. Not sure if my copy would play online and i doubt it..

This could of possibly gone into that multiplayer thread but oh well.

No worries Balious, its the off-topic thread here... but we may as well move the topic back to multiplayer after this post...

I have seen your post on the multiplayer thread as well... how about for starters we try FEAR co-op? I need to reinstall it and I have visitors tomorrow night.... so later this week, Wednesday or Thursday night?? Anyone else, FEAR combat is free, we could have a co-op game.....

I'll have another read of the multiplayer section and see what the most common games are... I suck at online Doom and Quake 4, but maybe Doom co-op would be an idea??

Yeah FEAR properly be the ideal one to pick as i think most people have that one but i could be wrong.

Quake 3 i was ok against my friends but.. online i was getting killed by 'hackers' (pro players i just like calling them hackers :tongue:

)
Doom 3 from what i played i suck alot at but doom 1 and 2 (online is free if you have the games) im very good at.

Now to make the off-topic on-topic (never thought i say that..) where is the damn barkeep! im not sneaking into the cellars again!

Hey man, you ever need a machine gunner and some ammo in Battlefield 2, my name is MeanderingBeing. I'll have to install and get used to the game again, but when I was playing, I fucking ROCKED as support. Me and three other friends used to have a "LAN" party where we would all go to someone's house and all connect to online games with our own squad and ROCK the server. I'm also really good at Gunner in the helicopters. (I was insane with the TOW missles.)
Damn, now I want to play again.

Sounds cool. Maybe we all could get Battlefield 2 and make some clan or guild or whatever and have wars with the other people!

Yeah there is a co-op mod for FEAR. Except for us having infinite lives its quite fun. I don't think it matter if it is in french but if i somehow hear french i know who to blame

Also anyone know any good dynasty warrior like games for pc? besides the actual game itself. I like an online one. I know theres a dynasty warriors online buts its not released in uk or us yet :(.

FEAR Co-op is more a bastardisation of the multiplayer game... the maps have been redesigned to make them linear, and you face AI bots as you make your way through.

A full co-op version of the single player game would be awesome though!!

OK off-topic to off-topic: at least fior this site it's a new record (although they come a couple of times in a day), now 10:51 am GMT, 19 Google bots (crawlers) are sifting the the site. We are very visible on the net.

moddb.com's mod of the year 2006 & I think it's far better than 'vanilla' BF2. Completely new maps, teams, weapons & vehicles, better weapon accuracy/damage, no more tactics-ruining UAV, mobile artillery...

Played on the tacticalgamer.com server (E.coast US) everyone squads up & most use voip. Has to be the best MP experience I've had.

Im all of a sudden interested in finding a war game to get. I just wanna see a leader of a squad die and then someone else all of a sudden takes control.. I doubt there is a game like that but one day hopefully there will be.. WWII online properly does it.. then again maybe not.

Anyway guys what game do you think is better if you played them. Call Of Duty 2 or 4. They both very good games and i would like to play one of them. Or perhaps recommand me a better war game if you think its better then them two.
