T O N is quite good indeed I've got some too

At the moment I'm hypnotized by this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLNx4GryFV4
THE DEDICATED, CERTIFIED RESIDENT MADMAN

This song has been on repeat mode on my mp3 for at least a day now. It's one those songs that have buried itself deep down in me or has already been there ( in which case my doubts about time and this reality deepen )

Thats such an awesome song. For those of you with a great sound rig and a turntable, I highly suggest getting the old LP of Pain it Black and pay REAL CLOSE ATTENTION to the instrumentation. It is so complex (and at some points disharmonous) and technical. Very few musicians do this kind of thing anymore.

So, do any of you guys know which three famous british guitarists were in the yardbirds?

All right. Thats it for now. Next planned post: Crossroads Guitar Festival and some Music Technology that will blow your mind.

EDIT: I don't know if I have posted this one before, but I feel I should anyways. This is just too kick ass to pass up.

Great selection MeanderingBeing :thumbleft:

all were top-notch. Some I can note quickly:
Dawn of War - Paint It Black (nice and funny as well in a surreal way.) :)
Rolling Stones... Angie and painted Black Eric Clapton,Jeff Beck,Jimmy Page-Layla
Jimi Hendrix - All Along The Watchtower Live! Isle Of Wight
Yardbirds...

Brilliant Preformances.

Recently came across an artist by the name of Tricky, by his accent I'd say that he's from somewere around the British Isles, Ireland perhaps. The music is quite good

I think he is from Bristol (South England), if you like his stuff you should also check out Portishead and Massive Attack.... He actually appears on some Massive Attack songs, and I think he was or is part of the group.

He is OK, but he absolutely murdered this cover version....

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=nPmkbwAIxxk

The backing music is great, but the choice of that woman "singing" the lyrics is a bad, bad mistake. He should have done the vocals himself.

Teardrop is a good song (good video too), I have all the Massive Attack albums, my favourtie song is still Unfinished Sympathy, sends shivers down my spine!!

I have seen them perform that one live at a festival, with full backing orchestra, simply awesome. One of those moments in life that you look back on and smile...

Tricky is another band I have the complete collection of. Strange thing though, I think the chick sings the dude's lyrics and vice versa. Its very strange to listen to a dude sing about "child bearing hips" and the chick singing about, well, honestly, I can't remember! I's too stoned and should probably get some sleep.
