I think the above is correct, it "Should" say No place for Stalkers here, death awaits in the north.

To be honest my russian also sucks, i just know some few words and sentences so not really much use, what about siro, he speaks russian, maybe try asking him if he is up for it. :)

Siro previously volunteered twice for about the same (two pages) amount of translation, but unfortunately on both occasions his PC broke down. I wouldn't like to be the reason of a third break-down; such an offer does not bring him luck.

Unfornatly my russian is very very bad even though its the language i want to learn most so far. Maybe my russian friend could help although hes not exactly helpful to teaching me russian.. I only know some russian words like suka and.. er.. curse my mind i forgot :sad3:

Just means a certain NPC cant reach its waypoint, most likely because theres an anomoly there, best bet is to change level, and sleep for like 9 hours and go back. :)

DARK TEMPLAR you're having famous (vanilla) Kruglov/Semenov problem arising from from either one of those idiots getting stuck to the door when they're panicked of someting going on outside.


The version you play (2.4) has the ZRP Fix which reduces the agitation/response to danger levels of those idiots, but... there is a but... when you reload, the Xray (engine) forgets and resets the values, you end up on frame one.

I've found that during the active mission, if a reload performed (even worse, if the game is exited and re-entered) the all important info-portion relay system in Xray seriously falters, and therefore the completion of the mission in question and the rewards (etc) of the outcome can seriously be jeopardized. I have a current fix for it: I had withdrawn it but after seeing that Xray is still biting any hand of help, I have since then reinstated that Fix, which is very simple. It's the historical medicine of those who do not listen to the voice of sense. Shoot the bastard, either one of them, Kruglov or Semenov, (as said on the Mod's Web site.)


Well, I have prepared a solution for this problem for the long term and it'll be released with the forthcoming update. Until then, the solution is your gun. :)

But, if you like it, you can still shoot them even after the update.

yes, it's an oldie but a goodie, I didn't get it in normal play but when I hit "Freeplay" it would happen a lot in Pripyat when I first went into the map/area, I found it would stop happening after about half an hour (ingame time) it would only happen around what I call "Sniper Alley" that is the street you first walk down with the Loners at the start of Pripyat, so when I came back into Pripyat after my tours of RF and BS in freeplay, I would sprint down the street and avoid that area for awhile

and save your game lots of times, both hard and quick saves, I use to save after every skirmish

I do have a theory about this problem, I could be wrong but here it is anyway.
when you come back from Stancia2 and start freeplay the sniper positions in Pripyat are taken over by Duty, Freedom and Hunters (I'm talking about the Sniper Alley positons here) I think the game is trying to put Monolith in those positions but it can't because like I said they are taken over by other factions, and the reason that error stops is because the warring factions eventually kill each other, till they respawn then the error starts up again.

We have now Ket's Twilight K.E.T. KT 1.1 "brand new" PDA Maps thanks to Ket. :thumbright:

Brilliant looking "Hand Drawn" design maps will undoubtedly enhance the mysterious aura of the Zone.

On Pripyat matter: I've now finished working on Yantar. Scientists -either Semenov or Kruglov- will no longer upset the game by getting stuck on their path. (it is a vanilla problem)

Now, I'm moving work to Pripyat, it'll undoubtedly take more than a few days, as I intend to give all the necessary effort, and once again sift through the massive files of SIMBION.
Those NPP return snipers situation will be sorted. Busetibi, it's a well-considerable , good idea ! :) I will definitely look at those aspects as well.
I have to stop here, I'll continue later, my internet connection (as I mentioned on Bar thread) not good today, signal has started fading.

OK, I'm back. Internet is still very slow. Whole day, there was no internet in this part of London (nearby central London) and now everyone must be online.

So, you're playing another round, that's great. :) The best way to skip those symptoms of NPCs getting stuck on their paths is to follow busetibi's method for the time being.

Well seeing as i got a fully built computer i still have to go round installing stalker. Im not sure if i should reinstall it now and get newsa back on and start my journey to being the best stalker again.

After playing a few other games i may return and continue this along with my story and screenshots (if the places to upload screenshots start working again for me). Nightwatch when do you think the new version of newsa may be ready? No rushes or anything just interested as i don't want to start a new game then i find out you released a new version 8-[

Actually you're right it's happening mainly in between what you call sniper alley and the underground carpark, but in my case it happens before
Freeplay, I suppose it wouldn't make any difference when it happens,
hopefully it'll be fixed in version 2.5.

Glad to hear that you now have a top grade computer, and also equally glad to see that you want test your PC on this mod. :)
Well, about the release date, as I mentioned I finished working on Yantar now (unless another idea comes and I quickly touch it again) and moved to -hopefully starting tonight- Pripyat NPP return (freeplay) sections.

EXTREME version is structured on framework sort of way. And the completion of them both, and then compiling the mod with only the necessary files, instead of posting about 800Mb gamedata :) , -the work has gone well beyond of what was originally indented for 2.4.1 and 2.5 now, but it's great :) - so in realistic terms we may be looking a two-weeks-period.
Hopefully nothing serious happens in life, and I’ll make it before the holiday season starts.
