And, I can't tell you how much fun it is having all these nude women in the game. I keep up on the newest textures and they keep getting better.

I can't blame you for they must be really something, because I've just noticed that photobucket has removed their picture, saying that image violated their policy. I hadn't had chance to click on the link,( must've missed it I guess.)

Sorry guys, I missed the educational part of this thread. I have
had a couple of mods slow down this game to a crawl. Removed
them and all was fine. There is still some learning going on with
some of the modders but most all of them are fine.

Wish the hell I could remember but it was one that put a personal vault home underground and when you walked to that area things slowed down drastically. That was 2 weeks ago at least so it may be fixed by now. It was NOT the "Personal Vault"
mod as that's a good one.

I blame my memory loss on "bOObs"... :D

Strangely hypnotic.....

Anyway, remember my post about the over used litter???

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3711

I have not looked but I am guessing they used invisible textures to remove all litter. I was half way through editing the game cells, removing approx 50% of the litter in game when I lost the PC. I still have the files and will finish this when I am back up and running if anyone wants it.

It did look much better, litter, but not 50 pieces in every room. I also removed it from some cells that should not have it, why would occupied houses have litter on the floor?

@Eggchen. Because people are lazy to clean up after themselves?

I don't know if I should try and play the game again or not. After about 5-20 or so minutes minium I start crashing and maxium is about a hour. Thats all I pretty much get of playtime and having to play through the beginning again because of corrupted data could kill the fun I have for the game. I don't know if my computer is going back to what it did last year with crashing for about 98% of my games.

I Reckon a few of us stalker modders join up and make a cool Fallout 3 mod TBH, i can do modelling and map making very well. (Yes i know its plugging :P)

And eggchen could maybe do particles and other stuff, i reckon if a few of us lot pull in together, we could make something epic. :)

I already tried ](*,)

Editing particles in F3 seems to involve 3d work in Nifscope, and I just didn't have the heart to keep trying. Maybe Nifscope is bugged with Vista, but I could never get it working. I have to say editing Stalker particles was much easier!! We'd have to get you working on the particles :-bd

I have done a few things with F3 for personal use, but mostly merging and tweaking others work (a few textures as well).

It is a good game though, looking forwrad to getting back into it. I have my saves still, but its been that long I may start again. Balious, put it on the shelf it for when you have the hardware, it is worth it.

I still reckon me, you and a few others should make a mod. :)

Defo, could be the S.T.A.L.K.E.R Vets making an Epic Fallout mod, and i myself would be willing to help and take part, aslong as others were also, i can build the soc levels for fallout if anyone knows how to implement them, i can model you out NPP and other levels, wouldnt take me to long i dont reckon, and i can do weapons and cars, either for use or scenery, and im ok at map design, kinda.

Still, would be a good chance for some of us modders, to broaden out "Horizons" with some fallout modding, and i reckon we would do really well, seeing as what we can do with soc Without the SDK, imagine what us lot could do with fallout which Does have a SDK. :)

Sure, i suppose aslong as we can all work as a team, and contribute towards the mod in some way shape or form, we can all work on it, just depends on how anyone else feels.
