All I know is, as tough as Stalker and Newsa are on a computer, it will probably run excellent compared to GTA IV. I'm ready =D>

Hey Guys,

Thank you for all these praises and applause, I'm really overwhelmed :ymblushing: I owe it to you all that we've made this mod such a successful and a desirable mod. I'm thankful and garfeul to everyone for your support and encouragement along the way, :salute: and I hope the end product will live up to it and provide and exciting and fulfilling gameplay.

There's still some days for it to be relased, as you know, guys. The amendments to traders lists, that I mentioned yesterday, has also finished today. So, now, the only things remain are those about the releasing process, which itself a headache on its own.

I need to prepare video, for this I need to take couple videos (I lost them all) cut & paste, then I need to redo the Web. I noticed that I've lost all the web work on my HDD, no files on my my HHD other than on the server which are seen right now. So i have to redo them, reflecting the new elements in v3.0.

I have to struggle with set up, and as I only do all this and those above once every several months, from update to update, I'm on my amateur gear and speed. So this relase preparation stage can last upto two weeks, though I'll work as hard as possible to make it shorter.

_______________

A couple of news from the gameplay:

In EXTEME mode:

There is only one Nano suit in the game. No one sells it until you hit the Freeplay.
ABC Repair Kit is ONLY sold by Sakharov after turning off X18, and it's very very expensive, so buying it before the very late stages of the game is almost impossible.

However, One Nano Suit and One ABC Kit is inside the Red Forest Sniper Bunker and getting inside it is imperative, as I have also raised the power of already very strong Blowout there, there is nil to nothing chance to survive in open field unless you dive in the bunker.
I have changed the sniper door code (and the BS ammo bunker door code) for EXTR mode only, so the numbers that you'd know from other modes will not work in XTR mode. You will need to look around carefully and try to see those numbers on some places. Numbers, even when noticed, will not be obvious where they belong, so you need to keep them nearby and enter them onthe door-lock one by one; try and error method.

There is very few Nite14SP Auto shotgun, one is hidden somewhere before you hit AW, and no one sells it until an AW mission is done and you get the Auto-shotgun as a reward.

You need to keep all the important characters in AW alive, for lucrative rewards.

When you've spoken with Max, when if you hear a Russian Military March with a thick bariton voice starts (and it certainly will) then you can say your goodbye, :ymdevil: for you've got only about a minute/minute and a half until those choppers will whack the Freedom APCs (one or two choppers can be shot by APCs meanwhile, if you're lucky enough :mozilla_wink: ) and turn on you.

Damn, I love that shotgun. Works like a charm, when attacked by 5 or 6 fire dogs at once! While you are dealing with 3 or 4 Mercs and the zombie that just spawned behind you! :ymdevil:

I believe you're playing COD 4 Modern Warfare  , great game
I was amazed playing through familiar ground in Prypiat but no controlers or firedogs, no zombies or
monoliths but lots of deadly radiations pockets.
All hope abandon ye who enter here.

yup. It was so surreal rolling through familiar territory... almost like going home after being gone for a while. :-?

(Infinity Ward/Activision - call of duty 4 - rolling through post apocalypse Prypryat.)

Yep, CoD4, loved that level... there is a bit where you meet some wild dogs and it reminded so much of Stalker. I actually thought that level was done better than the Prypriat in Stalker, loved the dust and decay feel it had, in Stalker some areas seemed too "clean".

Nandersen

I'm using your "elite" nightvision for some top "exo suits" with its own "nightvision_elite" name (with its own section) retaining our current "_good" vision, too.
In the section, I've noted that as it's from Nandersen.

Also, will you be interested in brightening up the "CS good nightvison" a little bit, which is kindly forwarded by Grump642. I want to use it, too, but it is -while it has a good color tone and clarity- a bit too dark in the dark as a nightvision  If you undertake this work, it'll be undoubtedly a "Nandersen edition of CS good" of course.

---------------
COD 4 ha? It's one of the games still remain in my list of the games I want to play after this mod is completed. One thing that's good about this, is they are getting cheaper by every passing day. Playing optimism here. :D

The game is awesome! (I think the game engine for SOC could use a serious graphics/physics upgrade) I love running through the apartments in Prypryat with the dust hanging in the air - gives it an unbelievable "reality" touch.... :-bd

still :-w on V3

Got a bit of a flu in the beginning of Spring, after skipping the full winter, lol, so although a bit slowing down happened inevitably, still I'm dealing with video clips, finishing nearly. Read me file, websire update and upload, then we are on. I need to find a new hosting site though which can host upto 300Mb file. I can consider the NEWSA site, but the server is not set for uploading for such big files and it may throw the connection.
