EggChenYou got the garbage Chopper as well ha?

With a nice picture for your Corner as well.
Yes, this Quad_core is a hell to deal with. I've noticed how drastically affect the STALKER in a negative way. After upgrading from Pentium D to Quad-Core, I've immmediately noticed how STALKER function poorly under (or over?) Quad-Core. Affinity thingy does not respond well, I haven't seen any real improvement with it, even if there was any.
One simple trick though, is to quick save and reload in those situations, when you're infront of a mission/mission-giver, etc NPC or before you expect an important event to take place. Also, again this save-reload operation works after you've broke stash boxes, then sthe stuff suddenly appear in front you.
Microsoft is about to release two hot-fixes for "problem associated with Multi-Core CPUs" sort of title. I was offered to download them but also said that they were not fully tested yet, so I back downed. KB953186 and KB953186. Don't know actually if they will provide any help at all.
Vista SP2 is about to be released around 28-ish this month. They and some other stuff are supposed to come to help, but need to be seen in reality. Game companies actually need to support their own products which they sell to customers against hard cash.
About the grass textures. I've used a bundle of textures from Nuclear Spring and some works, the rest are from AMK, ABC, etc, in the folders. The one on the left looks better. Is it before the deletion of bump file or after? If you can post the name of the bump file that you deleted, I can check to see which one is it.
UltradadYou seem to have got a very good fix from the game indeed.

Another set of great pictures, quite moody ones as well.
Wombat_70Yes, the ABC Kit is very expensive, but I see your point in using it as an investment to repair and sell stuff.

Don't forget to look around, find and note the door-code numbers that are written in some places in mildly disguise. So you can enter the Sniper Bunker in RF -halfway along the road- and the Ammo bunker in BS underground level. Both has now much richer offerings to those who manage to get in.
That's one funny picture of an APC there,
Balious.
APCs are now passing through the anomalies without sustaining damage and being thrown up into the air, (provided that the anomaly is well over-powerful one, but they should still manage well) It must've run and hit something, then toppled around.
edit:KaidonniI just saw your post after posting this one, posts coming fast and crossing each other.
That crash, shutting down suddely during saving operation with destroying level message and the subesquent save corruption points to an engine problem, it had a glitch during the saving process. Fortunately you've got an earlier hard save.
Also, yeah, you're right. You've noticed good. APCs are now (in XTR mode) thougher, with hardened shield, and they don't go with one handgrenade. They even require two NEWSA NW310SP missiles. Sorry causing war-distress.
