lol, those zombies sure take a lot to knock down, what I try to do is move around in a circle then start back peddling, then drop grenades and let them walk into it, got to be be quick though

This is the famous "Cordon Repercussions" (based on EggChen's brilliant idea.) Now the Army deliveres the revenge that Sid was talking about.

These EXTR version additional choppers as seen in Garbage and in Cordon (also will be seen in AW) are real PITA and they are, cough, well, (as the storyline goes) flown by select, crazy-SOB pilots who do not take prisoners. They want their their case back, and they won't forgive even if you give it back. Only option is to leg it out of Cordon. But beware, it's not so easy. Chopper is the beginning. But Sid has given you some heavy stuff to help you with them.

Very good pictures again :thumbright: Seems very bloody things happening in the game.
That WT spot near the Bar LC is a very bloody spot. Many bandits, mercs, dutyers, stalkers walk through there particularly after you've turned the Yantar Psy emissions, they start emigrating, well, expedition, or whatever :mozilla_smile: to that area. And when all those hostiles come together at the same passage, they continuously kill each other, no time is short enough to remove all those bodies. While they are removed, more bodies drop on the ground. War.
(PS: Vaporize bodies function is disconnected, it's proven to be not stable on some computers. It's still on the menu, but doesn't do anything.)

On comment of vehicles: This mod has corrected the "floating vehicles symptom" as explained on page 52 of this thread, but believing that you have not read that (you were not around at that time) I paste it here again for convenience.

So, then this blow/hit wave in the air misses those vehicles that are spawned by script commands.

PS:
important info: But I've managed to make our APCs (all are spawned by script commands, not by all.spawn) stand on the ground on their very solid tyres, so to speak, without floating.

However, if you reload, then like all other vehicles they will become prone to float, as Xray will forget.
So notice that they are solidly on the ground as seen in the pictures (also in the videos)that I posted in previous pages.

Doing my rounds in pripyat. What a difference since you fixed the pathing problems nightwatch, cannot fault it, makes a hudge difference to the freeplay of this great mod =D> . The only thing that crashes the game now and again is this

Been a fun day in pripyat =D> , plenty to kill. Doing laps around pripyat and stopping off in my fave places the downed helicopter and school to take out the controllers that spawn there :ymdevil: . I misjudged how much shotgun rounds i would need so think i will be going back abit sooner than expected to restock, i think 2000+ shotgun rounds and 3000 rounds for my newsa gun should keep me going for a bit :-J

These mobs take a few shots to put down and same with monolith etc, seems like the guy in underground car park gone for a walk and died i think, i cannot find him so i have to go back to bar area now to restock :-?

This forum has great photographers and everyone is even getting better. What was that Controller doing? Almost jumping out of the screen on my throat! :-o I was not prepared. lol.

Great that you're enjoying your tour in Pripyat. yes, thank you for your compliments about the pathway-crash repairs done in this version.
That particle crash that you refer is due to engine's momentary glitch when it cannot handle too much blood, body pieces flying around, anomalies in action, etc, that take place at the same time, as one of your pictures shows at the gates of Pripyat Stadium. Blood is raining there. :D

Question: (not there yet this time) I have never been able to get a trader in the underground car park. One of my play-throughs I saved all of the stalkers heading there. What gives? :-??

what these guys were prepared for. I've downloaded it and about
ready to try but I'm not too keen to try Extreme mode. I draw a

If you don't have to dive in XTR right away, the other modes have been based on the same technical work as well, of course, and also still offer (not as much as XTR version, though) nice nicely placed milder kicks at unexpected times.
For example, though not in the levels of what XTREME version offers, in comparison with version 2.4, you will witness some more difficult times in Yantar and in AW. But in Non-XTR modes, there's only 1 chopper attacking the AW base (whereas this is 3 in XTR) and 2 Freedom-APCs defending the base in stead of 3.
Many missions distribution and NEWSA weapons placements are as same in 2.4, though; and there's no Garbage Heli, or Cordon Repurcussions, and (another) AW surprise. This mod has always been very difficult one, and now even the non-XTR modes are more difficult than before.
So, theres no Easy way, nor any level below Master. It'll still kick very hard. :ymdevil: Good Luck, one always needs. :thumbright:

When you've arrived Pripyat, and saved and escort at least one of the "Walkers" to the underground car park. Leader of the pack, or the last surviving one becomes the trader. Initially, it may take some time for them to settle calmly, reducing their panic levels, once the inside and immediately outside threats are eliminated. And then, they'll be ready to talk with you. Just go and enter dialog with them, you'll find the trader; trader name may name may change, because the initially assigned one may die.
Also, another tip, even if the last trader dies, you can still find the whole inventory on him. Though, it'll be only for once instead of being able to shop there several times.

Curious. When I was in the Garbage, going up the piles of radioactive waste, I wasn't being hurt in the slightest by the dangerous levels of radiation. Thing is, I changed my suit and my artifacts to drastically increase my radiation exposure and lower any health resistance, even didn't wear anything, and it didn't hurt in the slightest...

Also...100,000 Rubles to go to the Bar?! X(

I could spend all day searching dead bodies, the smell must be awful :)) . I goto agroprom to get a stash and take out bandit camp, i pop inside for a look and the amount of dead here is staggering, and while digging around the dead i find this guy and almost shat myself :D

This guy had everything you could think of, i am sure this is the trader from undergound carpark in pripyat that went walkies, i got a spair nano suit and all the simbion weapons :-o , wish i had a exo suite on me i couldnt drag it all back to barkeep with me, he had 1000 rockets on him as well :ymdevil:

Hope the health problems aren't too bad.
On a personal note, I don't think there is a support group for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. addiction just yet, but maybe in the near future.... ;) My kids are married & gone, but my wife is convinced I have Tourette's Syndrom. :mozilla_yell:
