Got this in garbage after im about to put away my weapon after the bandit raid on bes's place.

Although I forgot so many things since I'm not modding, but I remember this random error. It only occurs if you are using nodvd exe, so use the retail one and save your disc with daemon tools.

And I'm sure still noone reads the readme, lol

So, going to run Oblivion Lost again - found this socol2009_rci mod based on OL2.2...

can anybody enlighten me a bit? File readme seems to say it's OL2.2 with an arsenal mod...

Don't me, Kanyhalos, just looking for some "freshness" (OL twice & NEWSA about 5 times)

The OL 2.2/Arsenal mod is nice but there are too many AK47's & AK74's (about 20 each) which can cause an occasional crash since
all these guns have to load into every level-change. It did play pretty
well though. You need a fast PC.

hey fatrap! Good to see you too mate. What's up? I used to play WoW in the last several months and I got bored on it now. I'm back to stalker. No, I'm not planning to make new mods atm. I don't even know what should I implement if I would decide to do it again. Seriously, what else can be done for stalker now? Hm maybe new levels but I'm dumb at level editor and 3dsmax and don't even think that I would have patience for this, I remember I talked with dezodor and I know how much work he invested to it, so I doubt that if I will make mods anymore. Maybe one day when I wake up I'll have new ideas and get back my motivation

Seriously, I understand what you mean about motivation. We spent hundreds of hours modding this game and I know that it took a toll on both of us. I dropped out for a while and did not hardly play ANY game... tinkered with HL2 a bit and Crysis and that was about it. Just got "gamed out" I guess.

Anyhow, I am tinkering again but new ideas (that I can do) are hard to come by.

Tbh sadly today's games are not impressive enough. They are all about graphic, need only few hours to play them through, and most of the time there is no replay value either. The main purpose is forcing the players to buy the newest video cards. I remember the good old times when a game made me busy for months, like FarCry, Fear, Doom, Oblivion, and many others. Now I don't see this happening anymore...
Yeah I'm burned out of modding after spending 1,5 years on it every day. I think I'm out of ideas.
Maybe we can do something new together?:D

somebody took OL storyline & added a shitload of weapons/accessories/weather/visuals/sounds is about it (like different silencers for EVERY weapon, same with scopes, etc.)
- it was pretty fair, but redundant (20 AK47 skins? ) nice visuals, good sounds.

Yeah I know it now, it crashes a lot as usual if someone makes an OL pack And these are usually just textures lol
How can it crash a lot if they did not add anything new features? For example the side-missions doesn't work, etc... lol

Yeah... Played it for about 2 total hours before I was "on to it" - then it went by-by.

I don't think it's so easy to change a mod significantly which has more then 1800 files, especially without understanding the rest of the code
